whats the point of saying these things? like you should have done that or should have said this. UGH. makes you feel like you can't do anything right?

i believe in the native indian languages there no such word as "should"..

that's a word that needs to be thrown out of the english language..

no shoulds..just do whatever the fuck you want!

what could have been is not important.
if damage has been done, you're stuck with it anyway...

so might as well skip the "self-pity" stage,
and embrace the present situation fully. :)

It depends. "You should have done this or that" is different from "You should do this or that" :D

Should have and could have are totally redundant. You didn't...end of story.

As a famous racing care driver in Aus once said , all looking back does, is give you a stiff neck.

Should do and could do ...meh.

Another expression that does not resonate is 'what if'

If it pertains to the past, who cares. It didn't.

If it pertains to the future, you will never do anything if you are going to think of the 'what ifs'
