Ive always been a fan (i say that lightly) of John Edward,Colin Fry and Tony Stockwell, after years of watching colin fry on tv, i got tickets to see him last november- i was disappointed because i'd fallen for the 'tv editing' in his shows and seeing him live he wasnt half as accurate as on tv, maybe he was jsut having a bad day- maybe he's not always right- who am i to say he's a fake but i was disappointed, i also checked out his website and used to have 'psychic school website' but its logo was extremely 'illuminati-esque' so that put me on a back foot straight away! Also he's friends with Acorah who seems dodgy as....

Derek AchorahI think Gordon Smith is one of the best at the moment. John Edwards is definately a fake. And as for derek acora:confused: although he is entertaining when he fakes his possessions.:D
I stopped reading sylvia Brown books when she said there was no such thing as Demon possession. up until then i quite liked her theories.
Colin Fry seems good, and doris stokes. Not too keen on David wells though.
have to confess i think the tiny insignificant facts that john edwards comes up with, that only the 2 ppl involved would know about kinda gives credentials to him being on the line. As for colin fry...................well to generalised in his comments. Doris Stokes her books are fascinating

I think the way he speaks too fast and doesn't really give people a chance to answer properly. Also he comes from a family who all used to be involved in circles and stuff and has probably seen it as a good way to earn money. I have also read one of his books and wasn't too impressed by it. There was also something about him in the news which said, before he comes on stage, they listen in or conversations which the audience members have,by putting secret microphones under the chairs. There are also people planted in the audience what go around asking people names of those they want to hear from and all sorts of stuff. That is just my opinion though.

do you not think that the way he can specify personal details is not intriguing though?
lol the way he speaks too fast...........................have you ever been on a tour at universal studios? now those guys speak fast

lol the way he speaks too fast...........................have you ever been on a tour at universal studios? now those guys speak fastBut he doesn't let people get a word in edgeways:rolleyes: If they say 'no' he says 'yes' then he says stuff like maybe it's for someone else then. It's kind of more like cold reading to me.
but a lot of the time when he does that the more he keeps speaking all of a sudden a lightbulb goes off in the persons head he is directing his message to, and he is shown to be correct in what he is saying

I dunno- maybe im being naieve but i think he's the most credible, i like his style! He trained as a phlebotomist- he had a career in hospitals and a very good knowledge of human biology- i expect he has learnt a lot from patients NDE's etc etc....

He's Scottish and not too well known, but seems very accurate. He is also the 7th son of a 7th son:eek: and was apparently supposed to be helping the mccanns trace maddie.

He says it quite often on his shows- when he refers to a part of the body using 'medical jargon' he'll often apologise and explain that he was a phlebotomist and used to work in hospitals, ive heard him mention it may a time! He uses the right jargon i couldnt fault him on that! :D

my aunt went to see colin fry only a month ago up in birmingham. she and i were "hoping", as you can imagine, to get a message from my mam who passed away a year ago...but there were about 2 thousand people there my aunt said, and well no messages, i think it's all a con myself.
Colin fry makes business, just like the majority of them. They sell their beautiful gift to the devil. lol a figure of speech, i don't mean it literally...
but in fairness, if colin was true, he'd be happy enough to use his gift to make an honest living, but primarily to help people.
From what i know about him so far it doesn't look that way to me.
How are you supposed to channel so many spirits trying to send messages to their loved ones in an audience of 2 thousand people or more? It's not possible.
he could give private readings and not get hyped up in the media swooning over him, just making money out of him...but he does it himself too, like prostitutes himself lol he's not innocent being swindled cause of his "gift".
my aunt really liked him and was so disappointed.
TV psychics are trained to tell people what they want to hear. Body language, someones background, even their looks can all go towards someone coming to conclusions about that person. They create a persona and most likely even if they cannot answer someones question, make up some stuff just to keep them happy anyway. Ive had some psychic experiences and would never ever go to one. I think the best psychics dont shout it to the world, but go about their work quietly and genuinely.

my aunt really liked him and was so disappointed. I went to see him the same time as you in birmingam i didnt get a message and the people that did i would of gave him 1 out of 10. He eard £23000 that night He as been caught as a fraud before then changed hes name to colin fry
i saw one the other night that has a psychic profiler, a medium and a paranormal investigator as the presenter/team and they go around working with law enforcement on cold cases
the results they achieve are amazing
it is called "haunting evidence" it was on living tv last night

My sister went to see Derek Acorah the other night, and he had 'plants' all over the audience. lol. she said it ws embarrassing as most of the people there didn't get a message, but the 'plants' were all going ott with their emotions, crying and stuff:o:o It was so obvious. Still ''Mary loves dick, Mary loves dick'':D

I don't believe Colin Fry's got an ounce of psychic ability, he so cold reads it's embarassing.
I read one of Gordon Smith's books last year and thought he sounded really straight up..from what Ive seen of him he seems as if he's honest.
I watched John Edward's tonight and watched him skip completely over the bits the audience member didn't get..then he asked about her getting two tyres changed recently. She was like 'well I got 4 changed, like all of them,' he was like..'Im getting 2' and wouldn't drop it..eventually it turned out that two of the four were cack but she got them all changed anyway. I just felt there was a bit of an agenda there, there wasn't a need to push the number, he'd already been accurate enough.
It's a wonder Derrick Accora's still on tv when he's been kicked off Most Haunted for being a fake. Although, seeing as MH's the fakest thing on TV I'dve thought he'd fit right in. :p
