It is my (basic) understanding that when fats aren't produced on the surface, they are deposited on the inside?
are there any methods for clearing out our arteries, aside from regular exercise and a good diet?

Can i respond too here cos there is Vasko and Nurax from Gurusgarden.com that clears out arterial system and is pure without pesticides, takes a good few months to scrub the insides.

Everything you need to know about health & desease is in this book, best book i found in 30 years on the subject.

I have had this condition for over 10 years. I found that intravenous EDTA works to clear the arterial system but you have to be on a very low fat diet to get the benefits.
Someone also suggested taking Serrapeptase, which I am looking into. If anyone has any further info on this I would be grateful to receive it.
Best,
Jim.

One of the biggest problems today (and arguably one of the biggest killers) is inflammation, and this includes inflammation of the arteries, and heart itself. This is a significant cause of heart attacks in my opinion.
Where you get inflammation you will get scarring, and debris will stick to the rough surfaces causing clogging.
Although there are many suggested ways and products that are said to clear arteries, please be mindful of your levels of inflammation.

I'm still recovering from a blood clot on my lungs, after being admitted to hospital with it a couple of months ago. It came from a training injury, I had to rest my leg for 3 weeks and ended up getting a blood clot there which floated off and around into my lungs. I'm on warfarin for at least 6 months, but that works more on the blood than the arteries.
I know that High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) is a big natural artery scrubber, not too difficult to use either as it occurs in some foods. Flavins are another. These occur aplenty in red wine, onions and garlic and go some way to explaining 'The French paradox' how people can smoke and drink a lot and still live to a ripe old age.
Here's the wiki link on HDL, it's a bit full-on scientific at times but if you do a google search on HDL sources that will help you I'm sure. :)

according to F. Batmanghelidj, M.D. the body turns cholesterol into vitimin D if you lie in the sun [yes the sun does have a purpose but not suntan lotion]
also he mentions it on the documentry
"your body's many cries for water"

Ever heard of Turmeric? has anti-inflammatory properties, especially good for arterial inflammation.
Another thing to consider :
Eating healthy and drinking water should also be aimed toward achieving an alkaline body. Acidic body PH develops many problems.

Hi, just wanted to place my input and I'm sure that my colleagues will agree...
hydrogenated fats and oils have a lot to answer for in the current health epidemic... we've seen massive increases in arterio sclerosis, stroke and a multitude of circulatory related problems...
What we have seen and heard is that excess alcohol is bad for you and whilst I leave this up to interpretation (being a regular drinker myself) there is evidence that some types of alcohol are dangerous..
Isopropyl Alcohol is used as a food additive for flavourings, another type of alcohol in many foods as part of Aspartame is Meth Alcohol which is impossible to break down in the human body.. there have been deaths attributed to this in conjunction with the usage of creatine by body builders...
what am I getting to? well... imagine a process where hydrogenated fats are put in, heated to x degrees (in my knowledge this is 54 degrees c) although I am sure that you can appreciate that the human body doesn't generate anywhere near enough of this heat [I digress] when we add alcohol (methanol, isopropyl etc..) we find that this mixture solidifies.... into PLASTIC!! so, are we seeing that the fatty deposits on arterial walls are infact a form of plastic...
If you have ever seen the advert for smoking where they pull the fatty deposit out of the artery you will know that it comes out in one piece as though it is bonded.. the fat is not buttery, it is not thin.. it is a thick bonded compound resulting from the hydro artificial fats combined with alcohol... because alcohol is in a lot of what we eat, you don't necessarily have to drink alcohol for this to happen..
Ginko Biloba has been proven by the UK's first Proffessor of Complementary and Alternative medicine to decrease inflamation, control fevers and improve circulation.. furthermore researchers (although we may not always believe them) have found that Ginko improves cognitive function and has (in trials) helped reduce the symptoms...
Diatomaceous earth is also used as a mild internal abbrasive, look at the effects of this on the interweb... I have used it for a while now.. albeit unreligiously.
there are lots of different chemicals, herbs and tinctures which supposedly improve circulation and clear the arteries... I would stay away from anything un-natural, there is no guarantee that the artificial pills don't contain harmful elements like aluminium.
Good luck =]

Hawthorn berries, now ripe to be picked, are supposed to be good for the arteries and heart. They dilate the arteries for better circulation and are a good heart tonic. Google for recipes of hawthorn berry syrup.

As far as Turmeric goes,around 4% of Turmeric is Curcumin which is the active part for inflammation reduction..you can buy this refined as Curcumin98 or other brands,in pill form in health shops..Serrapeptase is also interesting stuff..When a silk worm has to leave its cocoon it would be unable to escape except for the bacteria serrapeptase, which breaks down the cocoon enough for the worm to break through..basically it dose the same thing inside the body and dissolves-digests any dead tissue and arterial plaque and its also very good for sinus problems.. I'm taking a high dose of both at the moment because I've had an inner ear infection that has troubled me for ages and I've had quite allot of puffiness (head like a football) and discomfort. The Serrapeptase has really helped where other things failed (no more feeling like someone's driving something sharp into my head!). When buying serrapeptase,look for "activity units" of the live bacteria,not just the milligram weight of the pill itself..mine are 120000 "AU" and I take 6 on an empty stomach in the morning.The pills are generally in a hard coated shell so the bacteria survives the stomach acid,so best to not eat after taking them I think.. I also take 6 x 500mg curcumin through the day with food,generally in 2 lots of 3...Serrapeptase is amazing stuff! and the curcumin is well worth looking into as well for anyone with concerns similar to leon11..

Thanks alot, It makes perfect sense about the Hydro-oils x Alcohols.I've never heard it explained like that.You seem to be well researched in this subject. Actually alot of good posts here so far. I'm gathering this information to pass along to my father , who's having problems with recurring arterio sclerosis after a Quad-Bypass 3 years ago.
Is the D.E. act as an abrasive or as a mineral neutralizer? I've also read that arterial buildup is high in calcium. What I guessed is that when people start cutting down on the sodium in their diet , yet don't consume real salt, and also ignore the benefits of magnesium, potassium, and other trace elements, Calcium starts to solidify. Just guessing...:confused:
Apple cider vinegar breaks up calcium deposits in the joints, would it have any of that affect on the arteries?
:confused:

1-Scar tissue clogs:
Serrapeptase ="butterfly enzyme"
Nattokinase=rotten tofu enzyme
bromelain=pineapple digestive enzyme
gugulipid=Indian herb
2-fatty deposits:
Lecithin=emulsifier (binds fat/oil to water)
3-calcified deposits:
EDTA, intraveneous=chelator for calcium & heavy metals
Cilantro=heavy metal chelator
NAC=chelator
S.O.D.=chelator/antioxidant
Vit C, mild chelator
Heart strengthening:
Taurine=amino acid, energy
L-cysteine=amino acid, reduces inflamation
L-carnintie, acetyl-L-carnitine=amino acid, heart beat
CoQ10=coenzyme for vit C & carnitine.
Hawthorne berry, might interfere with prescription meds
Clog prevention:
Ginko
Vit C.
Lysine
Proline
garlic
B vitamin complex
ginseng
grape seed
pine bark extract
juicing raw, green leafy vegetables
Advanced heart disease:
EDTA chelation at an intraveneous clinic AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
Vit C, lysine, proline & B's daily, minimum. Methyl B 12 injections or sub-lingual. Vegetable juicing.

Use Ester C, not ascorbic acid. Your father will get a stomach ulcer from ascorbic acid. Purchase high-quality vitamins. You get what you pay for. Expect to spend $$.
EDTA must be given intravenously by a qualified practitioner. Again, it is not cheap. But if you are serious about REVERSING heart disease it is the best way. Yes, it reverses the clogs.
Vit E is also good. Buy natural E, such as derived from Red Palm etc. Synthetic E is worthless.
Vit D3 is good for general health as well.
Natural Omega 3-6-9 as well. It has to be all, 3-6-9, to be balanced.
