Difficult to say, because it's important to look at what happened before leading up to that day. And it's not just about that particular day, more like time period of weeks, months. And there are several things going on at once, the aspects, planets in houses etc..

Is there an allignment of the planets in 2012 on 21 of Dec? I ask because, well, not only are planets always already alligned, but what is this configuration?

You need your full birth sign not just im a sagitarius.

I only know this much, as your star sign as just sagitarius is not your true sign, for example I am a libra, but with more leo in my chart and act like a leo on the outside and all my close friends are leo's.

Really helped me understand why my horoscope standard definititon for libra didn't really reflect me as a person.

No. Nothing special going on with the planets on Dec 21st, 2012.
Jupiter will be reversed in Gemini, Saturn in Scorpio, Neptune in Pisces and Uranus in Aries.
