Hi, stuck in a cycle of not being very active, if I am active I tend to intensify the pain I am already in, so I guess I have an aversion to exercise.
I have tried pushing myself more but honestly feel like screaming lol- not pleasant. Thing is Im not old yet and FMS stops me from doing things ...
Now Im on meds for high blood pressure and have started gaining weight.

Any advice would be gratefully received from anyone who knows a little about this complex illness-

Thanks ...

Well I have had it since I was about 3.. it can be brought on by trauma, mine was child abuse. My advise as silly as it sounds is denial. Take it out of your reality. Aspirin and go about your life, if you are sore, say that, Wow I'm sore and go on. After 46 years I am used to being sore but I don't dwell on it and I'm very functional. There are still things I can't tolerate like weight on my body (a large lap dog, or hubby's le across me) but I just know that and go on.

It's one of those things that you can let rule your life or you can forget it and live. The only other advice I can give is sleep when you are tired. I've been on all the drugs... my Dr always wanted me to try anything new that comes up but I didn't like any of them and they didn't help. Vit. D may help a bit...

Live, tolerate, be happy.

Ävoid flouride wherever you can, including showering in it if possible. It made a huge difference to me. Work out by a process of elimination if any food items flare it up. Folinic Acid eased my overall tension levels so the pain isn't so bad.

This guy Ivan Frasier (http://www.ivanfraser.com/) has excellent information about one cause of so called auto-immune disorders that led me to recover from Lupus symptoms (http://opposingdigits.com/sics/) which I believe saved my life.

Best place to get good reliable info for anyone with FMS CFS etc.
I have FMS (Fibromyalgia) and all that goes with it ...
http://homepages.sover.net/~devstar/
Fibro etc. in my family in varying degrees Im at the highest end of the scale due to various traumas...
I weaned myself off all medication and take nothing apart from natural therapies now...
Im also Hypersensitive so can have Dry Therapy or even some forms of massage also any electric pulses even a magnetic bracelet can only be worn for a short time when needed ... this is because I was pestacide Poisoned as a child by DDT and all the rubish Ive taken in via food & drinks over the years...
Stay away from Aspartame and processed foods but most importantly for Fibro etc. is get you teeth that are filled with amalgam out of your mouth and stop using toothpaste with fluride , use filtered or boiled water only but never Bottled water as the plastic will have contaminated it long before you buy it...
I use visualisation and positive thought along with breathing in love & light from the Universe...
I do as much good as I can and avoid all negativity I dont even watch the news or read it anymore I watch intentional comedy I also listen to music by people who lift my spirits and find Davids voice gives me strength ...

I hope this is helpful...
Love & Light to All... :)

If you claim benefits, or plan to later, then whatever you do, do not tell them you have an aversion to exercise.

If you do, they may try to diagnose you as having a psychosomatic syndrome, or somatic disorder, and hence making it unlikely for you to make a succesful claim, for a physical illness.
