this is really intended for south africans, all the terrestrial broadcasts are down today, all the tv stations (SABC 1,2 and 3, ETV and M-Net, satellite tv works fine) as well as all the radio stations (5fm, goodhope fm, SAFM etc etc), you name it, it's down.
anyone know if there's a reason for this? maybe it's just the cape town area, the weather's been a bit weird lately.
any thoughts?

hahaha, completely possible, telephone lines go down every day for just that reason.
they're back up now, but no explanation given.
