 Knights Templar
Why are the KT hiding in freemasonry?
this is because when the KT were on the run from the French king in 1500 ? they had to hide in Scotland as the English king wanted them as well, while they were there they needed to keep the templar going so they started Freemasonry, so they could pick members they thought they could trust out of the masons(a good screenings idea!?)
Anyone know or have any ideas?
Its ok you will not be added to my list(As I am a troll???)

There are several organizations today using the name Knights Templar. Rolf Harris is a mmber of one of them! His song "Two Little Boys" is a description of the Templar seal with two men on a horse.
The original Knights Templar didn't only go to Scotland though. They also settled in many other places after the purge in France. Some say they went to the Americas and they certainly had a prescence in england. One of the places they based themselves was Oxford and there's a place in the city which is known to be a former Templar lodge. (See the Symbolism board for all the weird things I discovered there). The rituals of the Templars, including the labyrinth, are found in Freemasonry that it looks likely that many Templars eventually became Masons.
Bristol Temple Meads railway station is a major rail transport hub in Bristol, England. It is situated about a mile south-east of the city centre, and is the main station for central Bristol.

The name of the site where the station was built derives from the nearby Temple (or Holy Cross) Church, which was built by the Knights Templar in the 12th century.

I'm probably not the only one wondering why you are asking us this question masonic3? Surely as a Freemason yourself you should know the answer to your own question?

Yes that works for me in away, I am going to join Craft which is the main type of freemasonry but after that I can join Markmasory or Holy Royal Arch(chapter) so to some people this is known as the forth and fith Degrees, to join the templar you must be in all three of the degrees which will cost you about:
Craft dues £70 ayear (first payment £170)
mark £ 30 per year
chap Think around £30 per year
Then you would have the templar costs ?? £500 i hear but the sword and chain mail is around £1000...
in lodge there are hooks on the selling which must be for this labyrinth (maybe)
Templar do use masonic lodges and thats a well known fact...
thankyou very intresting!!!!

If the KT have links close to freemasnry as we think its funny because Freemasonry use to be done in pubs when it was more under ground and you have a picture of a bar

The Templars had some tax free privileges. That’s why they possessed so many Public Houses, Taverns & Guest Houses.
In regard to the (Masonic) Templars, this particular organization is limited to Royal Arch and Cryptic Masons of the Christian faith and does not in any way impose this requirement on the entire York Rite system, as is commonly and erroneously believed.
The modern Templars have enough power to close Gloucester Cathedral to the public when they wish to perform their rituals inside. I have no idea what goes on in there but have seen them solemnly proceed from Shire Hall to the Cathedral, with Sword cases & costumes in hand, whilst the public stroll past without a clue as to what’s occurring.
