The scifi show from the nineties Babylon 5 (which I hate by the way) has some interesting symbolism. Last time I watched the show was back when it was shown on TV, so I don't remember if there's more, but what I find interesting now is the two main commanders of the station are called Sinclair and Sheridan. Sinclair at least is a major bloodline name, isn't it? I think Sheridan is also, but not quite sure.

Could just be a coincidence, nothing to worry about. But in case someone has something to add, some insights into B5, I'd like to know.

Also this character Elizabeth Lochley became the commander during the end of the series. I recall calling her "snake woman" back when I was a kid.

I watched that show a little bit in high school, especially for the war with the shadows. All I remember is that the centauri represented the jews and the narns were the palestinians. The centauri were always trying to enslave the narns any chance they could get...
