You mean "we have to keep on learning".This is hard for many people. As you say "never be satisfied with anything you believe". A belief is basically religion (and other things). It is very hard for believers to re-start and continue learning, BUT you raise a valid message.

I just composed the following and posted the it on another site - I think it's relevant....for me, this is the 'real secret' which is not a million miles from Deafbred's views in his/her OP, just another way of coming to the same realisation.

To those who still don't believe in Satan - it might help as it helped me.

IMHO wiggins, Satan - the energy/mindset/entity really does exist - however, until I came to that conclusion after several intense years of research into so many subjects, like many who still laugh at the thought of a ‘Satan’ - I too didn’t believe in his existence either.

In finding Satan and the evil his little helpers have have worked on his behalf (just look around you…), I found God, The Creator of the Universe and everything in it who also created Satan……

sorry to piss on your bible parade, but my personal experience trumps the King James bible! I spent several weeks in 1989 with a being who answered to the name "Splitfoot". Now, whether he was an embodiment of Pan, or "Satan", as I thought at the time, is irrelevant. What is relevant is that this apparent man (of a peculiar "type", 6 of whom I have met in different places around the USA) was the first person to challenge me to know myself. He did it through a most traumatic experience, guiding me through a shamanic illumination. I was terrified for the well-being of my soul, and so became a right frothing bible-thumper, eventually joining a quasi-christian cult called the Twelve Tribes (well, they were the only ones apparently taking seriously the words of Jesus, "You must give up everything you have")

very long story very short, Satan is not only a real person, but he is due great honor for having the strength of character to do the job of cosmic janitor, helping the sociopathic members of the human race to destroy themselves. You see, he tempts with evil, because it is evil he wishes to destroy. You can't tempt good people with evil. You can't tempt a child with overcooked spinach. We are all one. Christianity is a system employed by the PTB to keep us thinking we are separate from each other and from the Creator. Both of which are false. I heartily recommend you take the time to borrow from the library or buy Eckhart Tolle's "The Power of Now", and read it with an open mind. Of course, if you are very deeply entrenched in fear-based egoic consciousness, it will do you little good. But it just might help you to see that fact, and to line that up with the FACT that a God who is Love does not wish to Punish his mistaken, confused children. He wishes to reconcile all and enjoy existence together with them.

Until you understand that any god who secures your allegiance via threat and coercion, is NOT the Creator (but only an enegy vampire like Jehovah), you will not be able to break free from the "dreamworld we believe to be real", which is, after all, the ostensible purpose of this website.

God does not secure my alliegance through fear, threat or coercion....His teachings tell me to become sovereign and completely responsible for my actions and to have tolerance and respect for all and everyone, no matter how they treat each other or how disrespectful they are for others' views.

To 'fear' God means to have absolute and total respect for - this is a misnomer that gazillions of people fall into. If you ever did anything wrong as a child, did you fear your parents?? So, eventually you learned NOT to do what your parents would be furious with you about. Same principle but on a universal scale I guess.

I chose not to work with satan and his 'legions of demons' and choose to live and be the best that I can be and to work with God and His Creation instead. However, I am only human and therefore cannot claim to be perfect!

Anyone who doesnt realize this is a battle between the forces of good and the forces of evil really need to sit down and think about it becuase its obvious.

You can sit there and get tangled up in your duality which is a symptom that comes about when two opposing forces, which are not supposed to be in harmony, but are in fact at war come together. You choose simple as that but remember good and evil are just words.

Right folks,I have had enough of this site for a while,I am off to study again.I am afraid the disinformation agents are on here,that or some dumb individuals.OK,you've all heard the saying the world is an onion?I'm sure.First level:This society isn't for us,its enslaving us with there banal celebrity,tv watching,ever consuming,expert spouting,but i'm sure you know that.Second level:there is a secret government/secret societies pulling strings and arranging terror attacks and wars for their own amusement,to keep your level of development down,for the 2012 reset of standards:Third level:Just in case you figure that out there is a COINTELPRO(counter intelligence program)operation catching a few more of us,there is the NewAge/Human potential movement stopping you reaching the next level.You see,it works like this:If you gather and collect information,and work on perspicacity(discernment),you create certain reactions in the body,unlocking certain potentials and abilities,leading you ever onwards,and you can only make a choice when you know the question,therefore,saying surround yourself with light and love and spin your markaba,and come from the heart is part of the program of knowledge restriction.I know this is going to be hard for some of you to hear,but search your own reaction to this information.There are at least 3 COINTELPRO agents on here that i know of.If you think the SECRET film is the truth,which it isn't here in any case,try it.Focus on something for a day/month/year/lifetime.And when you find yourself in:Level Four:you have just died with love and feathery angels stroking the symbols in your chakras while fairies channel Akhenaten and overtone chant to your higher self in wonderland,and realise this is the next layer,and they send you back in folks.YOU WERE SCAMMED,AGAIN!Instead of using this alchemical process of knowing thyself to reach its conclusion,you allowed someone to play to your wishful thinking bone,and made you feel all warm and fluffy so to stop questioning.How many out there of you "woke up",with the illuminati,or via some personal spiritual/ufo/ethereal event and then realized we are eternal etc,and then stopped all investigations into truth and realities,because that seemed to be it for you,that was the soma you needed,"WHAT WE ARE BEING LIED TO?,BUT HEY,NOW I KNOW MY GUIDES ARE WITH ME AND ANGELS TALK TO SOME PEOPLE,THEN ALL MUST BE OK".Wrong.Thats this level.And there's another one after this,but before i get to that:Remember in the matrix movie,after he takes the pill and wakes up,going through all that experience,it was then that he realized it wasn't all ok.It was then that he realized that THERE IS A BATTLE GOING ON FOR MANKIND.You've only just woken up.Level five:The construction of the "matrix" is controlled by external forces,and aeons ago certain entities put themselves on the borders so when some of us managed to find our way out,we thought they were in charge,or were there to help us.Ahahahaha.No.The opposite is true,but folks,there is a positive note hidden amongst this third eye-squidgying post,when you get to this level of thinking,we have an advantage.You see the law of knowledge is you can only make a choice on what you know,obviously,and if you go

What if?...

Maybe there is nothing more to life than what we experience right here with the life we live, right "now"? And what if reality as we know it and experience it, is "it"? What if, that's all there is?

If this is the case, then our most important mission should be to keep the chemical balance of our brains in the most desirable state and environment possible. By living right, being healthy and keeping good relations with the people around us, which enables us to feel good and be comfortable.

Maybe the "secrets" are only to teach us how to live right, so we can be happy and comfortable? (ie: if you have good karma, you can live with less guilt, etc)

i too have one more comment on this subject. all that you see as negative is potentially in you. the same with all that you see as good. the drama that seems to be surrounding this planet is just that, a drama. it's a story for the entertainment and learning of the gods, with whom we are one, when we get behind all the egoic muck.

I agree, JC had a lot of wonderful things to say. too bad his followers don't listen to him. that's part of the drama too.

I am getting sick and tired of everyone saying there needs to be both good and evil, negative and positive. You have been fooled.

Evil is nessesery, because all evil is, is an energy the same as good. Good and evil are only words commonly used as a discription for each indevidul energy. We often use good energy to do somthing good, and evil energy to do somthing bad. Both are no thing, it's the action that the energy is used for which determins if the action, or intension, has a possitive or negitive outcome, effect. But if you learned how to mix the two energys, together then you've got it.

A simple example of how this works is a battery, possitive and negitive together. It gives the ability to power all sorts of things.
Battery's don't go around attacking people, nor do torches, they can be used together to illuminate you way in the dark or thump someone over the head!
it's only a tool, it's how the person who uses or abuses.
