At least Bonehead won't be there due to recent back surgery (shame) but they have Willie Nelson (reptilian accordng to Icke) on Fri evening Pyramid stage..Glastonbury on a leyline that connects to Stonehenge..which in turn is linked to the great pyramid (same Zil yard measurement according to Ralph Ellis in his book Thoth) tomorrow also marks the first anniversary 'death' of Michael Jackson..

Prince Charles has made an appearance on the Glastonbury Festival's famous Pyramid Stage during a visit to the legendary music event in Somerset.

His brief appearance on the main stage surprised fans who were enjoying the sun the day before the first bands are due to play on the major stages.

Organiser Michael Eavis said his event had "finally got the royal seal of approval" on its 40th anniversary.

Gorillaz, Dizzee Rascal, Willie Nelson and Rolf Harris will be among the attractions on Friday.

Some 120,000 people were on site on Wednesday night, out of a capacity of 177,500.

Police reported that tent thefts were occurring around the site on Thursday.

Festival-goers are hoping for a dry weekend, with sunny weather predicted but a low threat of showers and thunderstorms on Sunday

Would you quote a source for this comment? I never heard Icke say Willie Nelson was reptilian. :confused:

Willie Nelson has been vocal about 9-11 being an inside job so it seems unlikely he's a rept. JMO.

U2 are no longer headlining Glastonbury. Bono had an operation on his back and has not recovered suffuciently.

Also, the pyramid symbology far pre-dates the capstone eye.

Apart from being acoustically phenomenal, the Pyramid Stage was designed that way as a nod to the near-by Glastonbury Tor, Stonehenge and the new design is based on the Great Pyramid at Giza.

The first Pyramid Stage was constructed by Bill Harkin and his crew in 1971 out of scaffolding, expanded metal and plastic sheeting. The structure was built close to the Glastonbury Abbey/Stonehenge ley line and over the site of a blind spring. Many believe that the pyramid shape is a very powerful structure, the apex of which draws energy up and transmits it still further while the energy from the stars and sun are attracted to it and drawn down. Those that saw the original Pyramid at night likened it to a diamond transmitting almost tangible energy as people danced on the stage.

In 1981 a permanent structure doubling as a cowshed and animal foodstore during the winter months was built on the same site using redundant telegraph poles and surplus box section iron sheets form the Ministry of Defence. This Pyramid grew to symbolise the magic of Glastonbury Festival before it famously burned down in 1994, shortly before the Festival.

In 2000 the phoenix rose from the ashes and a glittering 100ft steel structure was erected with a massive footprint of 40m x 40m - four times larger than its previous incarnation. Four kilometres of steel tubing, weighing over 40 tonnes were used in the build, and all materials and processes used passed a Greenpeace environmental audit. This current structure was designed and built by Pilton villager Bill Burroughs based on the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt.

I think I am getting my wires crossed.. I think it is Box Car Willie. I should have known as I remember an interview with Willie Nelson on TV a few years back and he really seemed to know the score..my mistake :o

I went away and googled this like the good citizen I am and have only come up with references to references that Icke wrote he was a reptilian.

Haven't seen any direct quotes.

Did come across a webpage belonging to Willie Nelson in which he praises the work David Icke has done (although he is dubious about the way in which he came to his conclusions)

Willie Nelson is one of the good guys IMO. Any celebrity with the balls to talk about 9-11 being an inside job is on the right side. Charlie Sheen too. Of course tptb demonizes these guys. No surprise.

Bono has struck me as a pint sized arsehole since the mid-90's. I have no proof, it's just an opinion of mine.

I'd put more stock in the remainding members of the band than I would in their lead singer....

Infact, I am sure they have had a wee mutiny a few years back, but I need to provide quotes to back it up...
