Self control is a talent.:D
That's an excellent answer. :D
I voted "self control" because I apply to the theory that whether or not you have talent is luck. The only thing we have control over is how we use our time and that's what I think will be evaluated after we die.

It can also be said that you make your own luck.;)

Self control can hold one prisoner as a sheep. Self control is a double edged sword, so i picked the only other option.

We tend to forget that everyone has a talent of some sort. It's the people, who actually put their natural talents to good use, who find success in life.

Britains got talent, it's DJ Talent
'Britain's got talent' has to be one of the most ironic titles for a programme ever. Jeez...I mean, OF COURSE Britain's Got Talent!
I wonder if a recent graduate of a Media studies course came up with that beaut?

talent always beats self control
god always beats will
many of the most talented people in history had zero self control

I voted self-control. Even if I'm really angry, I'm able to control my anger so that I don't do anything I would regret. I don't slam with the doors or the phone either. I do have anger, but I also have more self-control than pretty much any other guy that I know very well.
And I don't do self-mutilation, whatever that means; go figure. :D
And if I'm with someone I really like, I don't show any frustration or the presence of being irritated (not even in my voice or eyes) for them asking self-obvious (stupid) questions with no end in sight.

Passion.
Live, love, laugh and learn with a passion.
We're so indoctinated about who and what we are meant to be and how to behave, but who is fanning the flames of the passion we are born with before they douse them out?!
Life without passion is simply surviving, nowt more than part of the food chain. I want to live before the end devours me!

What's more important to success?
Depends how you define success.
Being considered an all-time musical legend but drowning traumatically in your own vomit at 27, or coming quietly to the end of your life in old age and dying happily in peace and contentment?

Nope.
The rationelle is that you dumb it down to double the dollar. Hence Britains Got Talent. Cant get more dumbed down than that!
