It surprises me how afraid people are to say where they are from. I thought like that at one time. Why don't you start a thread called, "What's your phone number?" lol Or how about "Street and house number?" haha.

Or, who's your immediate next of kin... and where do they live? That might create enough fear to feed off of for a week. lol

Dease Lake is really nice Butterfly, but not right in town. In town it's just flat and boring. My friend takes a lot of pictures and he's the best photographer I've ever seen, His pictures are from all within 800 km of home, and it's the most beautiful country in the world.

But town is so boring. Flat with black pine. It's all nature here, and it's on the ring of fire, so volcanoes and fault lines here.

Fresh air though.

Here's a post Idea... "What's your Mother's Maiden name, and your date of birth?" keekheekheekhee.

No, we don't need to ask for your IP address, we've got that on file.

I started to realize that if we all are gonna stand, we're sure not going to be effective standing anonymously, But Isn't there an incredible amount of fear created by the prospect that someone might be interested in who you are?

Nice thread B.

Your missing a major point or two here.

It's not paranoid knowing "They" can and DO make folks life hell,
but it also isn't "Them" or Hackers folk worry about (smart folk know "They" already have our 'personals') but the odd, REAL, Lone Nutters who trawl the NET and obsess over people in VERY UNHEALTHY WAYS.

I can see your point... But I'm a pretty big guy... Pretty?... ok no, but big enough and just not the "victim" type. Plus, I live in a town with four hundred people so I basically am telling you exactly where I do live.

New folks in town are pretty noticeable. Also, I'm not afraid to call the cops. I don't think these dease Guys are packing tazers and attitudes.

Actually, you know, as long as you aren't racist against Native People, I would recommend moving here to anyone who is ready to (kind of) leave the hustle and bustle behind. Sure would be cool to have fellow lost sheep in the neighborhood. Could be safe from terror too compared with more populated places.

I just kind of don't want to go back to work in the "Canadian oil fields" since there was that threat from the oil moguls in the oval office... That alciada was threatening. I might have to intention up a different job this year...

There have been many, many tremors in that area recently. The West coast generally seems to be in imminent danger of earthquakes and volcanic activity. I would get out as soon as possible.

when i lived in southern california i was never worried about earthquakes..i found it kind of fun..

i remember when i worked in san diego i was talking business on the phone to a guy in los angeles..

suddenly he said "woooooh" and i said "what's going on?"..he said "did you feel that".."nope i said"..well about a couple of minutes later i was saying "wooooh"..it had started in LA and moved down to san diego..i thought the earthquakes were kind of kewl..
