MoD helicopter destroyed prize-winning conservatory by low-flying to ogle at au pair

An MoD helicopter broke low-flying rules and wrecked the award-winning mansion conservatory after the crew tried to ogle at a sunbathing au pair,the High Court heard today.
Barry and Anna George said that the Merlin helicopter swooped to 500 feet or lower in a bid to "communicate" with the girl, causing hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of damage.
Although that claim isn't being pursued, Mr and Mrs George's barrister, Daniel Crowley, said the couple have still not decided their position on whether the damage was caused as the result of what Judge Jonathan Foster QC described as an "alleged frolic".
"Once all the evidence is in we can develop our plans for cross-examination," said the barrister.
