I heard today that some schools here in the UK are employing a swipe card
system for their pupils to use rather than bringing cash to school.Basicly its no more than a debit card which the parents top up and the kids spend it throughout the week on school dinners, snacks etc. Now I know most parents probably think its a great idea, wont loose their money, can't be robbed but when you realise whats really going on within the education system it's plain to see its a way of getting them in the habbit of using credit cards etc in everyday life.I gather these cards also double up as ID cards and bearing in mind the constant surveilance by CCTV in schools these days they really are determined to mould our childrens minds into accepting this as the norm.

<sarcasm>I think that's an excellent idea, it will make the kids safer and fight the war on terrorism at the same time. Electronic transactions are so much more convenient and it's so good to know our government cares about the kids.</sarcasm>
