Could be true, but also a complex issue... Say they do stop the cameras & switch to some other segment... That might raise more suspicion. At the moment I think in those segments they just went along & tried to make it entertaining.

Bill Maher .. he was a fringe truther at one point wasn't he? ....and he stopped short of what he had said .. "once upon a time" in that clip .. and then rode the Kick Ass mule to the delight of the latin ..."listeners" =(audience) .. always the entertainer .. even though he's shown how hypocritical he can be in real life.

Well, he's either a member of a secret society, an alien, or has been threatened with keeping silent and chose to tow the line. I doubt that he chooses to ridicule it to the extent that he does simply because he's afraid to speak the truth. No, I would venture to say that he does it purposefully and willfully but the only person that knows the reasoning behind his agenda is him.
