I have never taken magic mushrooms although I have taken acid in the past. I have a few questions:
Is the effect of shrooms the same as acid?
What time of year is the shroom season?
How do you tell Magic Mushrooms from the poisonous mushrooms?

Mushrooms are like acid, but friendlier. Less psychoanalytical, more of a body buzz. Everything seems spongy. More spiritual. Less visual (except at very high doses???)

Yes, more dream like and natural (however, still unnatural). I think mushroom season is right now or at least a few weeks ago...There's a guy who gets paid by the council to pick them (so we don't hurt ourselves with them) how sad is that?

That is unbeleivable really is!! a friend of mines got a load there well and truly out in force!!:D
I read in another forum that mushrooms compared to acid wow factor with acid between 1 and 10 was a 20 healing factor 2 whearas wow factor mushrooms was 10 and healing factor 8-9.
Ive had some lifechanging experiences on mushrooms acid doesnt attract me at all anymore go picking !! :D

Actually I had shit loads of mushrooms not so long ago, dont remember eating them cause I was so pissed. Woke up buzzed out my brain trippin harder then ever before and had hours of ranting at the top of voice how I feared nothing and Im sure the neighbours heard my 6 hour speech cause I got some funny looks in the morning.
stashed the rest and do them somewhere really remote and try to summon down a ufo. (yes I've lost it) :D

Personally i find acid to have a similar visual effect as magics. I found mushrooms much harder to deal with in difficult awkward situations (which arise from time to time!) Acid for me was a far nicer experience. Though its different for different people of course. Incidently im fine with both now - i chose to 'freak freely' and thus face the sketchyness - now it is my friend :) Same old considerations to be taken as mushrooms really - you know . . .with friends, nice place, in a good mood and so on and so forth. Take em and go with the flow :)
Yes shroom season is now!!! :D if your lucky you can get hold of a big fat pile of em in one sitting :) i witnessed this only the other week at a party in a field round huntingdon way. Glorious
