How do I find a good one? I have felt the need to visit one for about a year. I don't know why. But, I know that a lot of them are just shams, and I can't quite figure out how to figure out where to go so I don't waste money on some bullshit.

Its tough, good psychics don't exactly advertise themselves because that would mix them with the bullcrap...Divination (what most psychics use) has to be done by someone who is very profficient in the astral plane and not get fooled by the results. Some people can predict 30% of the tarot cards they are handling which is amazing (take 'em to Vagas) but I don't know of any personally.

Maybe Chris Warnock at http://renaissanceastrology.com/ could help you...He's a traditional astrologer who does a lot of horay (questions), the time that you ask usually indicated a special event and that time is analysed traditionally (which means that it's not full of newage euphamistic psychology) however this also means that you might not get the answer you like, most psychics are considered good and accurate because they simply tell the client what they want to hear.

If not, perhaps you could ask him to put you in touch with someone since he's quite well connected.

I don't think is possible. To predict something I need to be connected with a place or a person. This means that my timeline have to be superimposed with the timeline of the person of that I want predict his future.

If your any where near blackpool mate theres a psychic club, its costs about 3 quid entry, and theres normally about 6-7 local psychics + a main guest psychic speaker.
There all a friendly bunch any off them would give you a reading free.

Try any locla spiritual churches see if anyone there does readings , or local psychic fares if any going on .dont just go to anyone see if you are drawn to any one in particular .I have payed a few times for readings in the past the best one cost me £3 and was spot on in everything ,and i have had readings at fares costing more and they where crap to be honest .So use your own intuition to guide you .I read tarot for over 24 years and got fed up of the types of readings i was constantly doing people always wanting answers they wanted not what they where guided to , tarot junkies lots of them about .The best reading i had by the way was when i was in an excellent frame of mind and the only person who knew i was a tarot reader as well and was going to be working in a shop like he was at the time .I did the phone lines for a while but again got disallusioned when the people asked for advice and help only needed to use common sense to solve their problems , iused to ask them if they had a ny friends they could talk to about their problems in stead of wasting money on phone lines , didnt go down to well with the company and i lasted a few months .Like with anything you get people who can tune into you or people around you some are good for some people and dont get much for others . Same with derek acorah went to see him some years back as my partners neice had jsut died and my dad as well so thought why not he looks good on tv would be interested to see what he comes out with at a live venue .But despite having done readings myself for years and my partner being a good clairvoyant medium , i found myself totting up the number of seats filled and price per ticket and number of shows on that tour .A nice little earner and i think that when you have a gift it becomes difficult the more success and money you seem to earn from it .Also they see mto follow a standard script as well . theres more than a touch of madame arcarty about them Colin fry was once investigated under a different name for fraud doing psychic work and changed his name ,when he was asked on tv about it he cut the interview short and left .Thats not to say he is doing it now i think maybe the universe would give him that ability maybe to see if he would genuinely believe himself now , what better test of proof .The best readings ive had as i ay are the cheapest ones and my g/f does readings for trade and donations at festivals and local fates etc ,that way some who can afford it pay more and those with nothing much to offer who need readings can get the message they need .And in response to the title of the thread How to find a good Pshychic if they are that good they would find you . :D

i have a strong belief that as life is counted in cycles of 7 years you should not seek phsicic advice (if that is your way) more than once every 7 years

1) things that are told you, you have a tendancy to attribute to events that are happening at the present time, yet the true meaning of what you are told may not become apparent till years later

2) A good medium is not one you will be familiar with, and they may come recommended to you, their price will be exceptionally low as they do not do it for money, but to try and help if they can in your dilemmas

3) always try to get a recording of your reading, so you can refer back to it, but do NOT play it to all and sundry, try to keep it as private as your reading was

Yes, i agree with numbers 2 and 1 as well... it happened to me,
and i did number 3 too,
all i can say is that what i was told is hapenning right now to me in my life, and the prediction was a brief view of the future of my life (approximately into next 5 year of which a year and a few onths went by already).

interesting enough because the various predictions are coming throu into reality, makes me NOW know we ARE FROM THE FUTURE and all has been written. not only this is something i am now sure of due to the realization of the fortold events, as well as myself having vision last year of a future knocking into my doors backing up this idea. Many dont agree, but i see this as a RePlay of LIVES, which happens for some reason, one we will find out only when we return back HOME (after earth life)...

in my personal experience, the only thing psychics can tell me is that i can do healing. anything else they have ever told me was BS. ive yet to be impressed by any of them. most of them are a drain on money and energy imo.
