I haven't seen many of Humphrey Bogart's movies, but I've been thinking I should watch some of them some time, like Casablanca.

Not being an expert, not even an amateur, on Bogart I don't know much, but even his movie names have interesting symbolism. Maltese Falcon, Casablanca (White House).

Those with more understanding please post your findings and ideas.

Bogart was a high ranking freemason.

Famous for membership to something called the '233 club' (a masonic outift that incl. many of the big movie stars of the day)

The symbolisim in the older films is just as apparent and perhaps more interesting in some ways.

at least you get to watch a couple of 'classic's' if you do have a look at them :D

Just as I said... So what if he was a mason, really? So many have been... Or u are one of those pointing the finger at the masons/illumies and blaming them for almost evewrything going wrong in the world? Or being a mason equates with being evil, blah blah blah? Truly symbolism has become an obsession and I see nothing good coming out of that.

Bogart didn't write,or produce his own movies....this thread is absurd..

That's an absurd comment. If Bogart was just an actor doesn't exclude the possibility that some movies he starred in had esoteric symbolism.
