London: More than 12 years after she died in a car crash in Paris, a leading defence lawyer has alleged that Princess Diana was murdered over her plan to expose UK's arms dealers.

Queen's Counsel Michael Mansfield has claimed that the late Princess of Wales even intended publishing an "explosive" diary to unmask those most closely involved with British land -mine manufacturing and the country's role in arms trade.

"Everyone remembers she raised the profile of the land mines. Everybody is aware that the British involvement in the arms trade, particularly land mines, is and was a huge vested interest. It seems to me she had planned various visits. She had already been to Angola and she was going to Cambodia. A large number of land mines had been manufactured by British. She claimed she had an explosive diary in which she was going to expose the people most closely involved in the British arms trade," leading British tabloid the 'Daily Express' quoted Mansfield as saying.

The Princess of Wales had angered ministers when she called for an international ban on land mines just months before her death in 1997.

She spoke out during a high-profile visit to Angola to meet some of the tens of thousands of innocent victims of the lethal devices.

At the time, British Defence Minister Earl Howe had described her as a "loose cannon" and claimed that she was ill-informed on the issue.

Mansfield represented Mohammed Al-Fayed, the father of Princess Diana's boyfriend Dodi who was killed alongside her, at the inquest into the couple's deaths which returned only a verdict of unlawful killing.

A Spokesperson for Princes William and Harry said they had "no comment" on the latest allegations.

She was most definately murdered. It is very obvious to anyone with their eyes and hearts open.

Its only a matter of time till the truth about this and all the other disgusting attrocities the elite's have been involved in will emerge into the public arena. ;)

IF Diana was killed, she was killed because she was going to join a muslim to the Royal Family. Consider what it even MEANS to be "Royal" and you begin to understand why that could not happen. EVER.

Sorry, you misunderstood me. I wasn't stroking my chin in interest at these revelations but was asking for proof!

To give you a start, the last time i checked, the history behind the number 13 on its own goes back much further than your claim and your connection datewise with a templar slaughter is not widely accepted. Dan Brown has much to answer for!

Like what? there isnt any proof whatsoever that the place she was killed has any links to an ancient sacrificial site, as is claimed by conspiracy theorists. I had a thread on the very subject and it ended up closed as I started getting abuse when certain people could not prove the point. The only people who print such claims are conspiracy theorists but try finding actual, genuine historical information on the death site and you might fail to link it to a diana sacrifice temple

everything at these levels has anther crime behind one or several, layerd,,,,,,,many times investigations stop when crime is found, or a motive established, but at these levels there is always several compartmentalized crimes happning that can break away and provide cover for the real crimes,,,,,,,,,it is a harm reduction technique.

I doubt that anything would ever be allowed to come out....

They tried to do that a year or two ago, and evidence went adrift, so called witnesses couldn't be traced, yada yada....

In my opinion, it would never come out, because .....if she was killed, it would go straight to the top and that evidence etc would never be allowed to see the light of day....

Theres tonnes of things pointing to a hit, unfortunately none of it provable....

Nobody read the newspapers? Diana's driver was drunk. He tried to escape the paparazzi who were on bikes (Diana used them only when she wanted then ignored them the rest of the time). The car crashed as it was driving too fast through a narrow tunnel. Ever since then, Al Fathead has been in denial that it was his own chauffeur who killed his son and Diana.

I'm not surprised this was from an Indian newspaper. What British paper would touch it?

Diana was what is commonly known as a slapper. She slept around with rugby players and anyone else who would have her. She turned up at a muslim doctor's house wearing a fur coat and nothing else.

Every country does arms dealing. Britain's arms deals are no secret and no big deal.
