Interesting article.

If the world we experience is truly holographic, what are the implications? And what is our responsibility?

Hey tru! long time no see buddy!

Yes it is interesting: in thinking we have true undrstanding of our planet, its nature, and the environments behaviour, we really are just kidding ourselves. Global Warming, Global Dimming, impending Ice Age, whatever, were making it up as we go along in our vain belief in our cleverness

A POV that's become clear to me recently is that its all interesting, but from another level irrelevant. Is it solar radiation? Is it mankinds activities? Is it happening? Is it not? thats not what the real issue is: we love explanations, but they have a lot more to do with being sops for our ego and our mind than gaining a true understanding:

The way we use our one and only planet is RETARDED

Once we collectively grasp that, it all gets easier from there

I believe global warming is a red herring drug across our path that should lead to a greater respect if not deference to nature. Every time the subject of wilderness or encroachment of ecosystems is brought up in my world someone always brings up global warming and the conversation always veers off course. So, say a question of whether we should log old growth forests, a rather cut and dry topic, is hijacked by the immenesly nearly unsolvable question of global warming.

Spot on: and then it becomes "too big to think about" and "we cant handle it" (so "they" cut the forest down whilst we're dithering around). Truth is, we know whats right: we've just got the knack of not listening to ourselves
