They are supposed to send an e-mail letting me know when it is to ship... It's been a few days and I'm still waiting.
Somebody already asked this question on another thread and I'm sure it will be brought up again, so I'll answer it. I got the book for only $27.09 USD shipped. That's quite a bargain compared to the price if ordered and shipped to me from the U.K. So... that's why Amazon.
I am really anxious to read this last book. I have all of them but his very first one. They have all been amazing. They have given me many hours of pleasure and enlightenment.
I wish they'd get it in stock already!

just be patient, it'll arrive that is guarenteed, so just relax and chill.
I'm still waiting too! But in the meantime... my husband just gave me a copy of "Who Built the Moon?" for my birthday (last night! he put it on the roof, under the waning full moon, heh)... and I've been getting into that.
I skimmed it last night and began reading it this morning, and it appears to be a lot of factual information. So maybe pick up a copy (or borrow from the library) to tide you over until Amazon gets its act together!
cheers

I also preordered from Amazon. I feel your pain. I preordered it from Barnes and Noble prior to it but they cancelled it and I hopped over to amazon.com... Oh the pain...

I'm not ordering this one until it's been around the block, and is readily available so that it's cheap via amazon.co.uk. I can wait, plus he'll talk about it to death so i'll have heard most of what I will read anyway.

It's almost as if someone were actively preventing the distribution of this book.
But, of course, it would be paranoid to think something like that.

I just purchased mine from Barnes & Noble at the end of last week and I got a shipping confirmation email just recently. So, they definitely have it in stock, for those of you in the U.S. that want it.

I got an email from "Book depository" that my pre-ordered book has been made available by the publisher. It will be dispatched in next few days :) :) :D
Heck, I just cancelled my order that I'd placed with Amazon... and went BACK to BarnesandNoble... looks like my BN order went through and it shipped today!
I am very much looking forward to reading this book!
The whole concept of the moon being a construct is fascinating to consider...
