Okayy Guys, So im very new to this, so bare with me! lolz.
I have a friend who is also on the forum, who has been on here alot longer than i have and also knows a great deal more than myself, and i just discussed this with him.
Im not a big fan of Doctor who, but my brother always watches it every saturday. I happened to catch about 2 minutes of it last night when the creatures the 'Silurian' appeared on there. These creatures are described as 'Reptillian Humanoids' and are hiding underground and have been hibernating there for millions of years.
If you take a look at what's posted here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silurian_(Doctor_Who)
it states that 'These Silurians have demonstrated that they possess geo-morphing technology capable of manipulating the earth itself to do their bidding, and appear to have the ability to dissect live humans without actually killing them.'
and also:
'...a rogue Silurian group in the Galápagos Islands. It was revealed that the leader of this group had been responsible for creating humanity's prehistoric ancestors via a forbidden breeding program, sabotaging the Silurian stasis chambers to escape punishment for his actions.'
After reading this and also the wiki page, do you think it holds any symbolism to reptillians at all? What are your views on it?
Thanks :)

I think it is. Definetly.
You can watch the episode here.

"One tribe of Homo-Reptilia against 6 billion people, youve got your work cut out"
Interesting :)
These story lines were in 1971.The second link refers to episodes set on the isle of wight and hte fort in the solent between portsmouth southampton and the isle of wight .Interesting symbolism in hindsight The Master imprisoned here :rolleyes:Interesting to see the reptilians finaly as a lot of the newer series has borrowed from "conspiracy theories "
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sea_Devil_(Doctor_Who)
The Sea Devils are a fictional race of amphibious reptile-like beings in the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who. The Sea Devils, like their land-based cousins the Silurians, were scientifically advanced and lived during prehistoric times in an aquatic civilization. At some point, the Moon approached close to Earth, threatening to cause geological upheaval, and both the Sea Devils and the Silurians went into self-induced hibernation to survive.

The Sea Devils - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Doctor and Jo visit the Master, now held in captivity on a small island prison, after being captured by UNIT (at the conclusion of The Daemons). The Master is being held indefinitely and is the only prisoner. He is watched by CCTV and the island is patrolled by armed guards, trained to resist the Master's hypnotic powers, and even protected by minefields. He claims to have reformed but refuses to reveal the location of his TARDIS.
As they depart, the old-school patriotic governor, Colonel Trenchard, tells them that some ships have been mysteriously disappearing. The Doctor cannot resist investigating and he and Jo are soon attacked, while examining a Sea Fort, by an underwater Silurian. This man-sized bipedal lizard is called a 'Sea Devil' by a crew member who's been driven half mad. They escape to the nearby naval base, HMS Seaspite run by the efficient Captain John Hart; despite the Doctor's eccentric behaviour (such as claiming to have known Nelson personally), an alliance forms. Hart is in charge of the adaptation of the sea fort for use as a SONAR testing station.

They don't "definetly know something" as has already been stated in this very thread they adapt conspiracy theories to suit their scripts. They know as much as you do.

Well, they might know something... but the latest eps are kinda lacking... it is very much like that they are copying conspiricy theories. ..
So... it is a like those chocolate shops, where you can pick and mix. ... they get away with copying old stories too.
Heaps of their stuff has been in old movies, or the Twilight zone.. or whatever.
Just like in Southpark, 'Simpsons did it' ..
Everything is copied..
But from true life.
Cue twilite zone music ........ doo doo doo lol.:cool:

Well, the storylines were written in 1971 originally, was there a reptilian conspiracy then?
And you dont know what they know tbh, so you cant say that.

From the episode due to be broadcast June 5th, Vincent & The Doctor:
Vincent: It seems to me that there's so much more to the world than the average eye is allowed to see. I believe, if you look hard, there are more wonders in this universe than you could ever have dreamed of...
