I was reminded - today - that good old Ronny Reagan reintroduced the word 'Armageddon', not of course in its orginal biblical context and yet.....
He is also famed for his 'alien attack speach' (in 1987) when he talks about an other-wordly threat whereby the nations of the world would have to unite against a common enemy - such as an alien/ET threat.
It reminds me of the biblical prophecy whereby the kings of all nations will unite in the final war against God, in Armageddon.
