The strange case of the Australian business man Herman Rockefeller, who mysteriously disappeared in January of this year.
Australian Police, claimed to have recovered a body which in all likeliehood was Rockefeller's. His disappearance gained huge coverage in the media, but there has never {as far as I can discover} been any official confirmation that the body is indeed his. It's a bit strange that Googling the case, the most up to date info I can find is something posted on 2nd Feb stating that the police had had the body for 4 days but were yet to positively confirm it as Rockefellers.
I'd have thought that the positive identification of the corpse would have been big news, either I was wrong, or the police are taking a long time to come to a decision, or it wasn't Rockefeller's body after all and there has been a media clamp down. I hope I'm getting this wrong in some way, if anyone has any info on the identification of the body I'd love to hear from them.
