Today in the morning i opened my window then i saw something very unusual.... i saw a bird flapping its wing high in the sky but it was stuck in the sky totally fixed ... the bird couldn't move up or down right or left for 30 seconds then it was over he got free ..

i still asking myself what was that and why?

Sure it wasn't a hawk or an owl hanging on the spot above a field mouse?

If not, I'm scared!

i've seen flowers bloom overnight, and die overnight. i've seen baby geese grow into adults withing a week. and above that, i can feel how the fake enviroment can barely hold itself together anymore....

I see that all the time, with the right headwind and drafts the bird will appear to hover while flapping its wings, its position stays the same, it will flap its wings either constantly or now and again depending on conditions to keep still.

Birds of prey are good at this, usually while watching prey, which to you and me seems too far up, but their long distance vision leaves ours for dead,

and other birds can do it too.

that's really odd with it being a pigeon, they're clumsy creatures and I wouldn't have thought they could sustain their own weight in one spot mid-air. maybe it did confront something otherworldly  I guess animals will experience things like that too.

If it was fixed and flapping it was most likely a kestrel :)

Totally out of left field.....

In June 2006 there were reports of a horse suspended in mid-air in Italy.

There used to be picture available on the internet - but they are no longer accessible. (unless you are a subscriber to Linda Moulton Howes earthfiles website).

Tres weird!

The consesus at the time was that UFO's were picking up animals for experimentation.

I don't know.....

Was the wind blowing? Some birds can't hover but keep a position over the ground by facing the wind. But I don't think pidgeons can do this.

Any bird can do it in the right conditions.
Think of walking on a treadmill, you're technically 'walking' but staying in the same place. If the wind is moving toward the bird at the same speed of which it is trying to move forward, it will appear to be stationary.
