"An Inconvenient Truth". It should be called "A Convenient Lie", and they are showing this crap to our school kids :(

October 5, 2007

CBNNews.com - A British high court judge believes former Vice President Al Gore's film on global warming is unfit for schools, without some warning.

According to the London Daily Mail, the judge says Gore's documentary "An Inconvenient Truth" is politically biased and contains serious scientific inaccuracies and "sentimental mush."

The paper reports the judge is set to rule on the film next week.

Since the judge believes the film promotes partisan political views, he could rule that teachers will have to warn their students that there are other opinions on global warming, before letting them see the film.

The case is based on a father's claims the film amounts to brainwashing.

The man told the London Telegraph, "I am determined to prevent my children from being subjected to political spin in the classroom."

CNN Meteorologist: Definitely Some Inaccuracies

After hearing about the British judge's ruling Thursday morning during the on-air segway to his weather report, CNN Meteorologist Rob Marciano clapped his hands, saying "Finally."

He told his co-anchor "There are definitely some inaccuracies. The biggest thing I have a problem with is this implication that Katrina was caused by global warming."

Marciano explained that "global warming does not conclusively cause stronger hurricanes like we've seen."

He pointed out that "by the end of this century we might get about a 5 percent increase."

Al gore the big fat bore!

Truth is subjective. There are most likely no absolutes.
