'christ' is the universal spirit/consciousness. Jesus was/is an archetype for this.

so, naturally, the 'anti-christ' is the system seeking to turn our focus away from that. It's all that encourages materialism.

That said, it's possible that the ptb will play into what people are expecting and place an actual person into the role, as an archetype for the system.

Who is this person? Nobody can know for sure, but I honestly DO think it could quite possibly be Obama. I also have a sneaking suspicion that Mitt Romney will be brought in to fulfill the role if the public grows overwhelmingly against Obama.

The Pope will probably be made to represent one of the 'beasts', perhaps the 'Red Dragon'?

I believe America has been set up, under the direction of the 'Red Dragon' (Vatican) as the 'Whore of Babylon', hence Queen Semerimis being our national symbol for 'liberty' (Statue of Liberty).

After WW3, I'm expecting the President of the US (NAU) or of the EU to broker a deal between Israel & Palestine to build a two-state solution. In the same relative time period, this leader will usher in the global banking governance to solve the international bankruptcy issue (essentially every nation will officially lose sovereignty to the bankers theyre indebted to), and then World Governance will be officially announced. Somewhere along the line, this person will set up his HQ in Jeruselum (now in relative peace), rebuild the Temple, and then all hell will break loose again... The NWO may be in full swing at this point - Martial Law, forced microchip implants, etc...

Start with the war of Psalm 83 and Isaiah 17. You'll make a killing on that one!

Who knows who the AntiChrist will be, but he is also referred to as the Assyrian in the OT. So ethnically speaking, we could be looking at someone with an ethnic tie to Northern Iraq and Syria. Why might soon be getting a glimpse of who he is since the EU is facing a crisis that could break the EU apart. We'll see if the EU continues on teetering towards disaster and whether a political figure comes to glue it back together.

Not to say that God promised a blessing for us when we perfectly understand prophecy. If we know what God is up to, we are more relaxed, we have better discernment and stronger faith. The fascination with prophecy is so people understand that they can know the Bible is the Word of God - He gave us prophecy, it is very important since it constitutes ~25% of the Bible. So we can understand the times we are living in, which are actually the "last days" - a great time to rejoice if you're saved, can't say the same if you are not saved.

You have to understand Daniel 7 to 9. You take the world government from there and fit it like a glove in Revelation 13:1-2. Remember, the language there is symbolic but the Bible will interpret it for you (scripture interprets scripture). The symbolic language is the same in the book of Daniel & Revelation.

You have to understand Daniel 7 to 9. You take the world government from there and fit it like a glove in Revelation 13:1-2. I understand it fine. I also understand that your use of the term "symbolism" is attempting to dictate an "absolute context" for that symbolism when you cant even be sure your close to -never mind correct- in your pressumed interpretation.

I see nothing suggesting government there; thats pure conjecture.

Although I agree to an extent that "scripture interprets scripture"(eg: the NT is the fulfillment of the OT), the Bible does not interpret the symbolism behind scripture; all it does is give the way through allegory.

I trust only in the One True Living God to reveal its hidden or symbolic meaning to me, not the words of man.
