This, sadly, seems typical of Freeman forums. People fall out then go off in a huff and start their own forum (and another and another) with their own particular rules and so the movement becomes even more divided and diluted. United we stand? Yeah right.

Imagine a dog coming into your business meeting and shitting diarrhoehea all over the carpet. You are attempting to establish an agenda and items to be discussed with the invited members of the team but a wild dog just keeps coming in and disrupting every time you cosily settle to convene.

You ask the owners of the dog to control and they don't. So you stay in the same building and you moved to a locked office. The dog barks loudly outside but when you focus on what you are doing your ears focus on what is being said to you by everyone in the team.

The team then pull together and go and share that with other teams. Those teams are the other UK forums here and in Scotland and internationally.

So no we haven't left the building. We are all merrily going to stay and Merlincove is on the cusp of being pursuaded to stay as team moderator!

FMOTL believers sell their theories as the legal gospel truth but yet many of them end up on the losing side when they enter into their adversarial collisions with the State. I think those not fully 'in the know' should be entitled to see the other side of the coin before they go down the FMOTL road. Furthermore, FMOTL should see forums like this as an arena to test their idea's - if they don't hold water here it's reasonable to assume they won't hold water in a Court of (ahem 'Admiralty') Law.

I've said this before and I will say it again..... Forums are designed for the enjoyment of those with same or similar interests in a particular subject or loosely grouped subjects and in every case in my almost 20yrs involved in BBS and internet forums this is the 1st forum where as many people with absolutely no interest in the subject feel a need to be overwhelmingly involved..

My opinion means as much as anyone else's in here, in some case's maybe more but I have no problem discussing with another any concept we talk about if that 'other' has an opinion to offer or a slightly different view on the point of discussion, you can look at many of the topics on this board alone to see that discussions generally take place between like minded people and only their POV may be different. I have seen several new posters along with the old known crowd in this forum and many have no interest in the subject, in fact, it's obvious that they are 180 degrees opposed to many subjects talked about and offer no assistance other than to 'warn' anyone inquiring, the dire consequences of doing so.

There is such a thing as free speech but what is happening here is the ability to freely talk about this and other related subjects by those genuinely interested in the subject is being strangled by the 'Free Speech' of those who's only interest is 'not' to discuss these subjects. If these people, who all seem to agree with each other, wish to 'not' discuss FMOTL subjects then they should setup their own sub-forum and not discuss it there and leave those of us who do wish to discuss it here to do so.

I have to say that the Moderators now have to see that the 'Free Speech' excuse given by the shills is nothing more than that... an excuse to continue to denigrate this sub-forum and interfere with those who genuinely seek information and discussion with like minded men and women. What they are doing to use an analogy is joining a group of people playing soccer and then making an opposing team and then instead of playing the game they foul the other side every chance they get.... seem Mods, the members of the team not playing soccer but just fouling need to be permanently sent off...!!!

Personally, I think the so-called-trolls have a place. Girlgye's closed forum will be just a bunch of liked-minded people bigging each other up with no-one to bring them back down to earth - without the disenters.
