I can't help but be reminded of these prophesies and warnings from Jesus Christ when I hear David Icke's followers talking about spiritual "oneness"; and a singular spiritual "consciousness".

I have more questions I'd like to ask, but for now, is there anyone who can answer the following three questions for me? First, I want to be sure I'm not mistaken about what DI actually teaches:

1) Does David Icke teach a form of spiritual "oneness"?

2) If yes to #1, then the spiritual oneness that he teaches, is it all-encompassing? Meaning, is it global and/or universal?

3) If yes to #2, then where do all the religious people of the world fall into David Icke's teachings on spiritual oneness? Like me, for instance, who fully rejects the man's teachings. How does he account for, or explain, people like me?

Hi 1964. Really, you'd have to answer those questions yourself. If you reject his ideas, what's your reason for wanting to know these things? I'm being both genuinely curious and playing devil's advocate now. ;)

Anyway, as I've read a lot of Mr Icke's books and heard him speak a lot, I'll venture some answers, paraphrasing some of his work:

1) To a large degree, yes. "We're all one energy/consciousness", which he writes and speaks about from a spiritual and sometimes scientific angle.

2) Yes, it's universal, as he teaches it.

3) Religion.......if you can name it (the religion), you limit possibility.... there are people who take the love aspects of their faith, but their are those who use it as a for imposition and a form of psychological fascism.

Religious Cultism.

Firstly I would point out that the "Study of New Religious Movements" is part of an academic study undertaken in just about every university in the world where they have a religious studies department. Generally in order to fall into that category you have to have an "organised religion" or be a "Cult leader." David Icke if anything is really in my opinion an anti-cultist, an anti-religionist and anti-guru; he appears to be entirely opposed to all forms of organised religion; his spiritual beliefs could be generally described as a common form of New Aeon spirituality, however there is a great difference between a person who has spiritual beliefs (most of humanity) and a member of an organised religion.

One World.

With regards to the "We are all one" perspective, universal singularity is a perspective taken even by many physicists who are entirely non religious; it may well be the case that the "stuff of the universe" or rather "non-stuff" is a singular element and that we are all spiritually and physically interconnected; this is a view which is entirely compatible with monotheism, in terms of cosmology, but of course not in terms of moral philosophy which tends to separate humanity into good and evil; this is a common perspective among Christians (i.e., the Christians are saved and the rest of humanity are dammned), Muslims (the Muslims are part of the true religion and everyone else is an infidel / unbeliever) and Communists (the Capitalists are the enemies of humanity who have to be eradicated and the anti-Capitalists are the vanguard and armies of revolution, etc).

False Peace.

With regards to "false global peace" I entirely agree that David Icke's solution to the current and expanding global, militant, apocalyptic, genocidal dictatorship of Capital (of the Capitalists) is a pacifist solution, however I simply consider him to be naive in this respect rather than deliberately malevolent; however this also applies to many Christians who also believe that militant resistance in not required and are simply waiting for the return of the Messiah whom they believe will solve these problems for them, despite the Messiah being depicted in the Book of Revelation as a military commander who is at the forefront of an apocalyptic and genocidal war against the armies and allies of the anti-Messiah who seeks to control the world economically and militarily.

"War" is almost always fought in the name of "peace; but it is a peace which is defined as the peace which follows victory, conquest and the subjugation of ones enemies and of all resistance; thus the current world Capitalist revolution is certainly fought in the name of peace.

Good and evil.

In this age rather than merely fighting over religion, the world's economic establishment merely seek to redefine "good Religionists" as those who submit themselves to the god of Capitalism; thus a Capitalist, state terrorist, narco-terrorist, tyranny collaborating Christian is a good Christian and anti-Capitalist Christians (such as Hugo Chavez and the Latin American liberation theology crowd, Anarchist Christians etc.) are terrorists; similarly a "Good Muslim" is not a person who wages war against the tyrants of Usury (as in the Meccan revolution), and who are rather considered terrorists, but rather a person who submits and collaborates to the Imperialist military and system of the god of Capital, etc., etc.

The thing to always keep in mind with the elite is that everything they do is upside down. Also, bear in mind that behind their impressive and lofty principles are deception and empty rhetoric.

I am sure they were aware that an awakening would take place globally, so they had to appear to 'participate' in it. But for them, 'unification' means this: divide, rule, play one nation/group against another, conquer and then offer "solutions".

I'll say this in a nice way: I really feel you should read some of his works and those of related scholars. Answer your own queries, and I suggest you drop your prejudicial stance. Looking from the outside, you're seeing buzzwords and making non-existent connections between anyone who preaches spiritual oneness and the POLITICAL "unification" aims of the elite. Yes, I am critical of the truth movement (leaders and followers) but you have to ask yourself, are the people in it for the most part bad human beings, out to cause chaos? No, not at all.

Also, I can't tell you what's best for you because it's your path. What I'll say is that if you're in search of truth, don't seek to have ALL of your current belief system validated, which I think you are. I can tell you the correct answer or the one you want to hear. Regarding the one you would like to hear: there is definitely a plan for people like you, people who are deterrents. Icke's follower's ? You must mean the people on this board. But I've never thought of myself as an Icke Follower. To tell you the truth, I just like the guy as a person, and don't give a damn otherwise. So you must be a follower too?

I couldn't remember any Bible verse where Jesus had prophesied of a One World Religion. Then I did some research -- like the usual google and could neither find any information on these teachings you speak of. That's funny because usually there is something, even if it's wrong information. Usually there is something.

So, then, go straight to the Olivet Discourses, which could be considered the heart of Christian escatology, and could find no mention of a future "One World Relgion". In Mathew Chapter 24 is contained what is often titled, Signs of the End Times or The Discourses. I don't know where you get this idea,, but in these verses there is no mention of a One World Religion. In Daniel either, which is a prophet mentioned in verse 15 of Mat.24.

So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation, spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand—...... To verses 21: For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again. 22 If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened But no mention of a One World Religion in Daniel or the Discourses.

Daniel speaks of a one world Beast, and the whore that rides her, as does Revelation. The Beast is the One World Government,, but The Whore is not a "One World Religion". It is religion, but it is not the religion of the One World Leader and Government. If the NWO has any religion at all, it is not the Whore that rides it's back. So, I don't know where the idea is from, "Jesus prophisied One World Religion"

Neither has any other prophet said there would be an one world religion. Of course, there is an Universal Religion they speak of, which has no bounds, no time, no place,,----even those practiced in a galaxy far far away, a long long time ago. But that's a different story. SEE Mat: 24 verse 14 --which mentions the universal religion, not the false religion, "Preached to the ends of the World". The Good News.

Notradamus, Fatima, Carmelite Saints, Joseph Smith, and Edgar Cayce have all been proven acurate. They have given many warnings, many of them confirm the Bible, but none of them have warned against a one world religion.

If you look at my original post again, you'll see that I was posing these questions for the specific purpose of informing myself so as not to make assumptions regarding David Icke's teachings without first knowing the facts. What I did is the opposite of prejudging.

In the meantime, you're the only person who even attempted to answer my questions when you responded to my thread. The rest all jumped to personal attacks, and religious debate, without ever addressing the questions I'd asked in the first place. Based purely on people's chosen opinions of me, the thread was derailed before it even got started.

Another quick reply, 1964...again, I said what I said without any wish to condemn, which may not come across in print. I used the word 'prejudicial' in the most pure sense of the word, i.e pre-judging, to form opinion without knowledge of the thing in question.

From your opening post, the questions you posed gave me the impression that, aside from possibly a few things you've seen/read online, you're not so familiar with Ickey's work. Am I right here? If you were, then many of those questions that you asked at the top of the thread would have been answered. When people make their choice clear to me, and their choice is to reject the Biblical Christ, then I leave them be. A true relationship with Christ can only be based on genuine repentance, and genuine love. These aren't things we can argue each other into feeling, but decisions we can only make for ourselves. In the meantime, I'm nothing more than a witness. I do get the impression from some that they'd be far happier if I were willing to argue, and fight with them. But in that case, I would be trying to drag people along against their will.

A true believer is one who follows Jesus Christ as He's revealed Himself to us in the Holy Bible, which is the Word of God. A false believer takes the Word of God, which is the Holy Bible, and he writes his own version of it, creating a false, personalized Christ to suit his own beliefs. These are things that Christ, Himself, prophesied would happen; and that Christ, Himself, warned people they must not do.

As for the Catholic and Protestant churches, the Catholic church wasn't born until almost 400 years after Christ had already founded His Church. And then the Protestant churches weren't born until 1500 years later, out of the Catholic church itself. The Roman Catholic and Protestant churches are not one and the same with the Church of Jesus Christ. And it's the Roman Catholic church that's responsible for the murders that you mention.

In Christ's true Church, Christ admonished His own apostle who tried to defend Christ from being arrested, when the apostle used physical violence. In Christ's true Church, a man was put out of the Church for having sexual relations with his mother-in-law. Jesus Christ has never taught, or tolerated violence from His true followers. Those who have taught and practiced violence in the name of Jesus Christ were already exposed as imposters by Christ, Himself, 2,000 years ago. And God has warned, in Scripture, that their crimes - falsely committed in the name of God's Own Son - have not escaped God's attention.

Yes, it's impossible not to. The living God said He would fill us with His Holy Spirit so we could know with absolute certainty who He is.

When you study Scripture, you see that Jesus left us MANY warnings about the MANY *false Christs* who would come, deceiving MANY people. The devil is a deceiver, he disguises himself even as an angel of light, and poses even as Jesus Christ.

I belong to no organization, and no wordly church. All of the world's churches, who claim to be 'Christian', were all born after Jesus Christ had already founded His Church.

I used to believe the same thing, piskavac. But Jesus opened my eyes, and He showed me what a lie this is that we've been told. Jesus, Himself, warned us to always be on our guard in this world, against the massive deception. Think about God's promise to you: God has promised that when you repent of your sins, and you are born again in Jesus Christ, then God will give you the Gift of His Own Holy Spirit to comfort you in all times, and guide you into all truth. We have to reason with ourselves: What man, or woman, can possibly be greater than God's Own Holy Spirit, so that it is a mere man who guides us, instead of the Holy Spirit of God?

When you are given the Gift of God's Holy Spirit, this world has nothing left to offer you that can be greater than the Gift which God has already given you. One quick example: The Catholic and Protestant churches were all born a significant amount of time AFTER Jesus Christ had already founded His Church in the world. Besides this, they neither behave, nor teach, as Christ behaves and teaches. So they are clearly imposters.

Is there any point at which you would finally abandon your own current belief system? Suppose for a minute that the world is truly headed for destruction. At one point would you finally say to yourself, ok, it's time to abandon ship - I've obviously been misled, and lied to?

Don't want to interrupt your discussion - no need to respond. Just wanted to share some things regarding your teachings on the Roman Catholic church.

I was originally raised in the Catholic church - I left when I was a teenager. Here are a just a few experiences me and my family have had with this church, that I can attest to firsthand.

-We were definitely taught to pray to "Mary", and "Joseph", and all the so-called Catholic "saints".

-People were encouraged to have a 'favourite saint'. My mother's favourite saint was "st. anne" - my mother would pray to her for 'special favours'.

-We were never taught anything about repentance, and Salvation in Jesus Christ. We were never told anything about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Never.

-I remember as a young child having to pay money to light a candle in the church - the candle was supposed to ensure that God would answer my prayers. As if God can be commanded by money and candles.

-My father possessed this bizarre 'power'. Through some 'secret prayer', he was able to do things like immediately stop someone from bleeding; and even make warts disappear. This secret incantation was to be passed from one family member to another, but only male to female to male etc. He eventually told it to me one day - I remember only one line. But I also remember that it was a distinctly Catholic type of 'prayer'.

-The older members in the family can still remember when the Catholic priests in their towns possessed more power than the local police. They also remember a time when certain priests were trained for the sole purpose of teaching other priests how to turn a profit in their churches. If a church was doing poorly, financially speaking, this 'special priest' would be sent in to teach the failing priest how to raise his profit margin.

-One family member saw a statue of the 'virgin mary' come to life before his very eyes (false signs and wonders!). The experience had such a deep affect on him that he joined a certain secret society of the Catholic church, where he lived in semi-seclusion, his days dedicated to learning a deep form of worship of this 'virgin mary'. He was in awe of this 'mary', and seemed to mention the name of Jesus Christ only when I mentioned it to him first, as if Jesus was just an after-thought.

-When one family member died, the priest refused to play the requested song in church. That song called "In the Garden", about a person's personal relationship with Jesus Christ! When the rest of our family said, fine, we'll take the funeral and the MONEY elsewhere, the priest gave in, and he allowed the song to be played. While the song was playing in church, the priest was rolling his eyes.

-Another family member began having bizarre, terrifying experiences. Hearing noises in the middle of the night that he said didn't sound human, or animal; footsteps when no one was there; angry banging on his closet door at night, again when no one was there. It went on for weeks, until one night, he woke up suspended in mid-air, above his bed! He said 'whatever' was holding him up in mid-air then flipped him onto his front, and slammed into the floor! That was it, he'd had enough - he went running to his local priest. He said the priest muttered the words, "By water and fire". And he sent him away with 'holy water' and a 'holy candle', to sprinkle and burn around his house. The spiritual attacks 'ended'. What this family member didn't understand is that the same devil that attacked him is the same devil that *pretended* to save him. "By water and fire" - the priest was talking about the water baptism, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Water and candles can't protect a person against the devil and his demons, but by the Holy Spirit of God alone, Who indwells Jesus Christ's true followers. The devil did a fantastic job of deceiving this particular family member.

And you're just getting to the specs of the matter. The meat of it is that Mary was a Virgin that gave birth to God, according to the bible. I research and spend alot of time looking into worldly things but I have a non- attachment to outcomes so this allows me to learn without reaction. I realize how comlex the puzzle is but to me it is also fascinating. I know tho' that knowledge can be addictive but I guess you could have worse addictions hey. I know we are going thru some revealing times and I think we are to take advantage of this opportunity as long as we can do it in a balanced way.

What if the internet went down and we never got to learn all the stuff we did. By the time people take an interest in these things they may not have such easy access. They are already eliminating alot of real truths and replacing or trapping alot of truth seekers.

We are lead all over the board because all this theosophical/New Age stuff seems to make so much sense, it's like candy, it tastes really good but can rot you. I think there are alot of truths in it tho' but also alot of traps.

The texts said that man once was pure spirit without a body, but had fallen down to base matter, darkness and chaos. She then was initiated into magical practicing, using esoteric symbols which learnt how the human race once again would rise into pure spirit. She claimed she was in current telepathic contact with Hidden Masters, who taught her the occult history of the human race.

Blavatsky was taught that the most powerful symbol of these esoteric ones was the Swastika. She wrote there were 7 stages of evolution, she named them route races. The race which should rise again to true spirit she named Aryans. In Tibet the Swastika was known as the son of fire and creation, but in Madame Blavatsky's teachings the Swastika was the symbol of the "alleged" Aryan race.

Guido Von List (1848-1919) was an eccentric person who played a significant part for the members of the Germanen Order(Teutonic Order). He claimed he came to understand the secrets of the Runes during an eye-operation. It was from him Hitler got fascinated by the magic of the runes.

Von List also had visions that told him of an old Germanic Religion the worship of the god Wotan. From that point he wanted to rediscover the secrets of the vanished occult heritage of the priesthood.

He knew that the Runes were an early form of writing, but he was convinced they had a deeper, esoteric meaning. He claimed the Runes were the key to the secret knowledge of the ancient Germanic peoples.

The Identity of Mystery Babylon

Further analysis reveals that this Apostate Church is the key component of mystery Babylon and changed God’s law in favour of pagan traditions. The ultimate climax seen is God taking justice on this Apostate Church and those that supported her, for her crimes and fornication just before the second coming of Christ, which is also part of what is known as the Battle of Armageddon. Now we have the opposite picture. Who is this woman in scarlet riding on a Beast?

Mystery Babylon is a CHURCH: In the Bible a WOMAN symbolizes a CHURCH. This is an extremely important point that must absolutely not be overlooked as it proves beyond all shadow of a doubt that this “WOMAN” with mystery Babylon written upon Her head and riding a Beast (Kingdom) has to be a “Church.” Below are several scriptures that prove this is undeniable fact. The only question that then remains is which Church? Note that an unfaithful Church commits spiritual adultery.

God also refers to Israel as a “Woman” (HER) as it represents the Old Testament Church that brought forth the Man child (Jesus Christ) in Revelation 12. Do not miss this really important point which is that God called Israel a “Harlot” and a “Whore” when she worshipped other gods and committed spiritual adultery. Some have wrongly concluded that this woman is Mary but the following verse demonstrates that this woman represents God’s true Church by the symbolism used. The time period here represents the 1260 years called the dark ages where the Church had to flee into the wilderness to survive the persecution. Mary did not live for 1260 years or have eagles wings!

So here in the last book of the Bible, “Babylon” is a spiritual term referring to confusion, not the confusion of languages in the Old Testament but religious confusion as the Church drifted away from God’s Word.

Mystery Babylon is a RELIGIOUS power dominating the CIVIL powers: Revelation 17:3 and 7 tell us the harlot, or fallen Church, is RIDING the beast. The Harlot and NATURAL Immortality: Sincere Catholics often bow down before a statue of a SAINT and devoutly pray, even though the saint is DEAD. But the Roman Church doesn’t teach that they’re dead. Even though the idea that man’s soul is naturally immortal is a PAGAN one. All the ancient pagan religions, without exception had the idea that the soul, or man’s essential being, was immortal. That non-biblical concept, inherited from Babylon was a common thread running through them all. In Egypt for instance, the pyramids were great monuments, great houses for the dead to hold their immortal spirits. But the heathen idea of man’s soul being naturally immortal comes from Egypt and Babylon and Greece, not the Bible whose teaching directly contradicts it. I think we need to read into all of this conspiracy shit with skeptisism. It's very easy to get wrapped up in all of it and sometime warp our own brain into thinking something this is very unlikely, to be true.

Zeitgeist the new "truth" movie being promoted by its makers on conspiracy message boards around the internet has been thoroughly debunked. It is disgusting to think the makers would try to sell it as a "truth movie" considering that it has dozens (over 50) easily provable factual errors. This is a slap in the face to the people who have died and will continue to do so in this patriot movement, we would expect nothing less than 100% accuracy of any movie in the 911 truth realm. We are talking about specific false claims that have been debunked for years, yet because this is the first time its been put into a form of a movie It has new life. This is not about a defense of a religion, it is about the integrity of information and our right not to be lied to by people claiming to be "truthers"

You will notice that they don't site one single original source for the Jesus similarities they claim exist, you would think if it was true that the ancient texts showed such similarities, they would simply site these ancient texts. They don't because they do not exist, Its quite simple, They instead offer books from authors such as Tim Leedom, Massey, Acharya, Doherty. This is laughable as a resource list if you have looked in to these claims. It's the equivalent as me referencing Glenn Beck to prove there is no 911 conspiracy. I know its hard to believe that Tsarion or Alan Watt have been quoting known disinfo in their dissemination of this idea, but look for yourself, The numerous claims made by this movie concerning Jesus's many similarities are either true or false. This movie also tries to make the claim that the Catholic churches pagan ideals, symbolism ,and rituals are somehow proof that Christianity itself is a part of this, nothing could be further from the truth. Lets take December 25th mentioned at least a dozen times in the film. The date of December 25th, which was officially proclaimed by the church fathers in A.D. 440, was actually a vestige of the Roman holiday of Saturnalia, observed near the winter solstice, which itself was among the many pagan traditions inherited from the earlier Babylonian priesthood. Any person that doesn't drool on themselves will tell you that nowhere in the bible is this date mentioned or inferred in ANY way. It is ludicrous to say that and pagan rituals involving this date can be linked to Christianity before the catholic church got a hold of the idea, that is, ALMOST 500 YEARS LATER. This illustrates that the Vatican has very little to do with true Christianity except for the obvious problem that they themselves always claim that they ARE Christianity.

Now, on to one of my favorite subjects, the Zodiac, or the Mazzaroth. This movie's half truths and outright lies about the zodiac are sickening. The unfortunate thing is that you have to know a good deal about science, history, mythology, astronomy, and physics in order to start to even understand what is at play with this system. It is not as simple as many are led to think And because of a lack of diligent study and an overabundance of half assed research, people swallow what they are told without questioning or learning anything further.
I warn you, if you REALLY want to know what the zodiac is, if you want to know why the illuminated groups venerate the "as above so below" maxim, it wont be easy, and you will have to go to "school", the long and the short of it is that the system, and its use and history, have been perverted to show and do things are believed only because of what you are NOT told. it is a matter of withholding information as much or more that mis-information. The truth is stranger than the half truth.

You can argue with me about a lot of things here (and Im sure you will) but that this movie has a great deal of factual errors is not up for debate, as I said most of these claims were debunked 100 years ago. They have tried to tell you that this impending change is a non-christian Idea, This IS the Idea! It is clearly described in the bible we will indeed change, as will this world, and why it must do so. but they are keeping you from seeing the origin of the warning! The bible has been 100% accurate in its writing history in advance, this is how has validated itself.
