Thanks lottie for spurring me on to make this thread. I don't think a general one exists already, but there definitely should be one. Anyway, yes, ahem, 'The Daily Mail'. Have you lot any words on this fine publication?
I have to say that this paper has been the cause of numerous exploded blood vessels in my time. The cause of many a row and the cause of what i believe to be a sick poison heartily swallowed by the day by our willing nation.
The hate-and-fear-mongering is often so blatant that I am ever shocked at why any person in their 'right mind' would even consider buying this scrapbook piece of shit.
Oh mighty Daily Mail! Please have mercy on my soul!

Yeah i agree- this paper is the mainstream 'sensible' paper, if the Daily Mail say it then it must be true because its not a tabloid....(?)
If ever im telling a friend about a new law or something like that....they say 'oh where did you hear that then?' and i reply 'the Daily Mail' automatically they find the info credible....
this actually happened when i was telling a mate last week about this;
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=484752&in_page_id=1770&ct=5#StartComments
The thing that i find commendable is that they did actually print this;
The new measures were implemented after the Home Secretary signed a 'statutory instrument' on July 26. The process allows the Government to alter laws without a full act of Parliament.
Its the type of thing that i'd expect to be 'left out' from the controlled media!
Although it was right in the middle of the article and consisted of 2 sentences- i'd've thought something like that would have been headlines on every news channel but thats me!!:rolleyes:

LOL- this just made me laugh....syncro!! :D
Quote from Peachped on a different thread;
Yes lottie I think it was the Daily Mail that put supposed pictures of Madeliene McCan in the "clutches" of some Morroccan Muslims. The story turned out to be a load of rubbish!

I hate the Daily Mail. I have always said it's just the Daily Mirror in Times New Roman.

It is the Daily Express, which has all the Diana rubbish in it.
By the way I hate the Sun, Mirror and definately the Daily Star.
I do like the Observer on Sunday though.

LOL! If I read a paper, its usually the Daily Mail
Given that I live in Tory heartlands, it gives me a barometer for where "they" are "supposed" to be at: and its often hilarious
Lets remember though, the Daily Mail is just about the most individual liberty/anti survaillance/nanny state paper out there: and stories like Fran Lyon broke through the Mail
It also covers a fair bit of alternative/2012 information, is very good for early 20th Century history stories, and is the only MSM paper that was positive about Icke, especially in the 90's

Actually the Daily Mail is not such a bad paper, when they get angry they really do. I agree with albie, I thought all the fms love this Diana nonsense but the worst paper of all is definately the News of the World.
