Nice. Very true too. It reminds me of what I was once told, they have a theory for anyone who believes in whatever you want. They sell you what you want to hear and see and believe. It's all deception. Why would satan tell you anything different?. Thanks, I needed reminded of satans evil ways.

Jesus is the only way. IMHO:)

Hugs and kisses.

Jesus is the only way to what? Are we so arrogant that we dismiss all spiritual discipline from all except these incredibly spiritual Orlibonurbs?

The way is through serving, mindfulness and desire to know God. There isn't anyone put in between you and God, not even Jesus. If it knew how, a stone could have direct access.

One can learn about "The Way" from the writings of all cultures. They all point to love as the Way. And on this plain love is to help the "Samaritan" and to abstain from attachment. Gets you ready for the next stage.

False spiritually is no spiritually at all (specially when you try to get there all by yourself). You either have the Holy Spirit of the living God in you or you serve your spiritually father, the Devil. No middle room.

I'm no better than anyone. If anything, I'm worse. I have just been forgiven, you can be too.

Jesus is the only way to what ? The only way you'll ever see Heaven and God. It's hell without Jesus (God in the flesh). You don't want to accept this truth ? That's fine, Satan got plenty of "alternatives" to offer to you.

Exodus {20:3} Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

You think you know how to get to Him, but fact of the matter is - you don't. God already lived among His creation as a man. You still want your own way thou,

Proverbs {14:12} There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof [are] the ways of death.

It's funny how everything you said is right there in such a small lenght video.

Is it really wise for you to be throwing around Exodus 20 orli?

I'm still waiting for a reply to this post: http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1058794426&postcount=9

I know you'll come through :D

Ps: I'm guessing you miss the mark(sin) with Proverbs 14:12 as well.

Already answered that one but will do it again, here on this thread. I'm sorry I didn't catch it when you posted it.

From your post,

Broken by...

1. Worshipping Jesus.

2. Worshiping images of Jesus on the cross.

This is where, as I said before, you have to understand the trinity (1x1x1=1). Jesus is God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit. They are one and the same.

Christians worship the true and living God (Jesus), we pray directly towards the living God and everything we ask, we do it in Jesus name (God the Son).

John {14:13} And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. {14:14} If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it.

Worshiping images of Jesus on the cross is idolatry. That is common from that Devilish Roman Catholic cult. Roman Catholicism as I stated plenty of times, hates true Biblical Christianity. They worship the death of Jesus, but Jesus left the cross long, long ago. Remember the dark ages and what got us out of it were true Christians (via the "Protestant Reformation" and the Word of God. Christians by the millions were tortured and burned alive by the Papal system.

I have zero "images of Jesus" or "crosses" in my house. No true born-again Christian has such demonic things with them.

Jesus was/is Jesus -a man, not God the Father.

This you mean?

Your right they are the same yet not in the linear context explained above.

When Christians pray to Jesus they think of the man as the One True Living God. This is worshipping a false idol. Jesus the man is a manifestation of the Father as the Son(the man), not the other way around, the Father is not a manifestation of Jesus. The Holy Spirit is the Christ, that which Jesus became. Again, not the other way around.

Jesus the man went to his Father as the Son(manifestation) through the Christ.

If your post was intended as a reply to my last post then its sidestepping the question. Why do Christians break both the first and second commandments in church and elsewhere by worshipping a man as an idol?

I understand it perfectly, though as yet you've only repeated from your other post and still not actually explained how you understand it. Its pretty easy to just say "1x1x1=1 (everythings one)", but that doesn't mean you understand the trinity. In fact, its a cop out.

Christians worship the true and living God (Jesus), we pray directly towards the living God and everything we ask, we do it in Jesus name.

John {14:13} And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. {14:14} If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it.

Ok wait a min. To quote the other post I linked above, heres Commandment 1.

2 I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 You shall have no other gods except me.

See that bold underlined part -Jesus was a man, therefore your breaking this regardless of how you colour it.

I didn't realise you felt that way about crosses etc. so Commandment 2 doesn't apply to you.

I understand it perfectly

No, you don't. It's quite blatant you don't when I have to repeat myself over and over again on the same subject.

We worship God the Father, yes God also lived among His creation as a man (Jesus). Yes Jesus (God the Son) was a man. Fully God, fully man - all the miracles He did, but still humbled Himself to suffer like us (and ultimately, for us and our sins).

It's that simple. We pray to the Father and if we want to ask for anything, we ask in Jesus (God the Son) name.

Ok letting "Jacob" deal with this.

No, you don't. It's quite blatant you don't when I have to repeat myself over and over again on the same subject.

Actually I do but thats besides the point. The point is you keep repeating nothing over and over and giving no explanation. If you understand it then go ahead and enlighten us.

We worship God the Father, yes God also lived among His creation as a man (Jesus). Yes Jesus (God the Son) was a man. Fully God, fully man - all the miracles He did, but still humbled Himself to suffer like us (and ultimately, for us and our sins).

"the Father is Greater than I" shows that Jesus never claimed to be God even though he knew God was in him, so how do you figure.

What part of Jesus was the Father?

Edit: Actually you should be claiming through Christ not asking through Jesus. Prayer is not and was not to be a supplication.

Ah, already prepared. I have no need to go through them all as 13 - 20 are enough and point to the Truth of all the others without having to disect them all one by one.

19) Jesus said, "I AM the Resurrection and the Life" - John 11:25

20) Jesus said, "I AM the First and the Last" - Rev. 1:17; 2:8; 22:13

Edit: As a random gesture, heres 36) Jesus reveals the Father - Matt. 11:27; Luke 10:22

"27. All things have been delivered unto me of my Father: and no one knoweth the Son, save the Father; neither doth any know the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son willeth to reveal him."

"22. All things have been delivered unto me of my Father: and no one knoweth who the Son is, save the Father; and who the Father is, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son willeth to reveal him."

Where does it say "I Jesus Am...."?

Spend some time with this, you claim to recognise the One True Living God, perhaps its about time you met him -and Christ for that matter.

Ah, already prepared.

1 Peter {3:15} But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and ready always to [give] an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

It is answered. Whether you want to understand and honestly seek answers now, it is up to you. In fact, I'd go further and tell you to ask directly for Him to reveal Himself to you (ie. in a dream, whatever makes you more comfortable),

Luke {11:9} And I say unto you, Ask, [B]and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. {11:10} For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. {11:11} If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if [he ask] a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? {11:12} Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? {11:13} If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall [your] heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Can't be more blatant than the verses above. I'm out of this thread, may come back if I see an interesting reply (not saying yours wasn't interesting or anything like that nectars, I meant this in a general way). Good night.

Of course you don't see it lol. You're not reading - it's not because I'm not answering, because I am - and repetitively.

John {10:30} I and [my] Father are one. {10:31} Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. {10:32} Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? {10:33} The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

This one is even more blatant,

John {8:58} Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. {8:59} Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

Take a wild guess why did they try to stone Jesus once again - here let me show you why,

Exodus {3:14} And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

And much more, but I'm sorry - I already answered. Definatly not in the mood anymore to keep repeating myself (reply #12).

You know you've still not gave a single example of Jesus saying "I Jesus AM God".

I can say "Before Abraham was I AM" and I was and ever will be, but who AM I refering to?

You really should to look closer at this dude. I'm not trying to be argumentative for the sake of it here I assure you. Your looking right at something and not seeing it, I'm merely attempting to shine a light on it so its clearer -yet even then it only gives the starting point.

Anyway this is going to have to wait till tomorrow. No hard feelings dude, nice conversing :)

Now that is an interesting angle, because I think Catholicism was a corruption of Christianity by the Pharisees.

However, are you sure of the Old Testament? This is a book about a vengeful God who favours the Jews, genocides their enemies, demands human and animal sacrifice and has no authentic manuscripts extant earlier than a century or so AFTER the dating of Greek New Testament original scripts.

It looks like a bolt-on. And as for the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Nag Hammadi texts - these smell very badly of fake. Now you only fake something if you want to reinforce a lie.
