Being good looking will always life a lot easier, than being plain. It does not matter which race or sex you are, but if you dress and act well life is always easy.
Jobs, more money and having the status of a good looking partner is always important to folk. Also when some one who is good looking with a nasty mind, say David Duke, Niomi Campbell and a few others are in the spotlight - people will listen to them for they have the good looks.
So all of you, take pride in your appearance.

Princess Diana had the looks, and the blood. Look what it got her! Marilyn Monroe had the looks!!
John F.Kennedy was considered attractive as well!! Bobby Kennedy wasn't ugly either. Martin Luther King wasn't ugly and he certainly received his share of attention.
trotsky received the attention, but he lacked the looks!!! Stalin WAS ugly...but never tried as a war criminal! Hitler was an odd looking man....he killed himself.
Ellen Degeneres isn't much to look at but somebody said "come in here dear boy have a cigar, you're gonna' go far!!"
Keith Richards? money, fame, and all the cocaine you can handle

I agree she had the looks, but to be idolized she had the full package.
What gets me is that Charles in reality prefered that Hagmonster Camilla.
Diana, is still a royal who was very privelaged, but there are many English working-class girls just as pretty as she is.

No doubt, I'm sure there are LOTS of working class girls as pretty as Diana, but that isn't the point. The girls who are "made" to feel that they are "less" due to a body/face fixated media need to rise up and out of that mind control.
A culture that almost worships youth and beauty, tucking away seniors into homes etc. is NOT a good provider or gauge of what is beautiful

The founding of Ku Klux Klan
Six former Confederate officers formed the KKK in1866 in the town of Pulaski, Tennessee.
The Klan’s purpose was to counter the former slaves who were stealing and pillaging under guidance of northern carpetbaggers. Northerners were grabbing control of the reconstruction agencies during all this.

Looks...
Am not sure if it's actually a big blessing to have
very good looks.
Mediocre looks seems better to me.
The good looks makes it indeed all pretty easy in this
world that is dominated by outward appearances.
You can easily fall into the wrong hands wth good looks.
Take all those moviestars.
Once they are famous they are ADDICTED to attention.
I really don't think think it's helpful.
And besides that, there's always the FEAR of LOSING the looks.
All this focusing on looks and the easy succes...
Not that I am completey immuun to Good looks, but it's
just a part of the package, and not that important.
Same with cars. Some are obsessed with cars.
Is a bit difficult for me to undestand.
Yet we are so brainwashed that even owning a big
stylish car helps you a lot, but then again, what kind
of people are attracted to those kind of things.
There are now Millionaire exhibitions, where you can buy all
kinds of eccentric, extremely
expensive stuff. All to blow up yourself even more.
Lot's of beauties walking around on shows like that,
but it's all a bit disgusting to me....
Call me old fashioned, but just someone who is friendly, simple
and relaxed is so much more valuable than all that so called
beauty and looks.....
And no, i am not jealous at the GOOD LOOKERS.
I am not ugly.
Have mediocre looks.
Like i said, that's the best....

That's only half true. I noticed that a lot of beautiful girls are so infatuated with themselves that they have lost perspective all together. While it's very easy for them to be successful in the Illuminati machine, they have devalued themselves unconsciously as merely a compliant cog. Almost always, when the looks go, they have nothing to fall back onto, and they emerge out of their beauty into middle or old age, and they are like children experiencing the new and ugly face of the world which was clouded before by their facade.
It's a double edged sword. Many girls are corrupted by their beauty these days, unable to experience a deeper level of themselves. They gain the world, but lose themselves. This applies to men as well, but I like women better so I used them as an example.

I wish I could rise above looks. There is a method though, which Eckhart Tolle brought up. He said that when we see people, we automatically judge. This is certainly true for me. For example, when I'm in a mall, how can you not see the obvious? But it ISN'T obvious, that's the thing. Beauty is a fiction. It's only beauty because we believe it is, just like the dream is only real because we think it is. There is a good twilight zone episode here that demonstrates my point:
You Are So Beautiful in the Eye of the Beholder - YouTube
Eckhart Tolle recommends that when we see people, we don't automatically judge. Judging comes from thinking. Therefore, clear your mind right away and let the potential thought (the desire to judge) pass away.

So all of you, take pride in your appearance.
Being good looking goes a little bit farther than appearance. Your own self confidence in who you are and what you are capable of emulates an energy that will effect an entire room of people. You will actually look better and more appealing if you consider yourself as such and are confident in yourself. The way in which you walk, in which you speak, in which you gesture, in which you respond to questions or comments, all of that place a gigantic role in how others perceive you.
I discovered this at a very young age. I found my personality, I developed my own self-image of who I am, what I am going to do, how I am going to get there, and most importantly WHY I will act the way I do, do the things I do, get the things I want, and why I want the things I want. This self confidence and self-realization has served me well. It has allowed me as a person who doesn't make much money, who doesn't drive a nice car, who prefers to dress down and wear my hair long and disheveled to gain the respect and attraction of employers, women, men, and all people who are both older than I and younger than I. Because of this I have been able to do things that most high school dropouts are not able to do. I have become a well-paid journalist and columnist for several publications, and have gained the respect of people who are older than I am.
Love yourself, know yourself, and have no doubts in yourself... and if you do have those moments of doubt, and hate, and oddity about how you look or appear, it's important to suck it up and emulate an air of success anyway.
This is what makes a real man and a real woman. People who know their weaknesses and their oddities and even their physical flaws in appearence, but know that they strengths, talents and opinions that they do posses are integral parts of this life and should be respected. These people, even an ugly hunchback if he or she acts this way, will look attractive in the eyes of others.
Simply thinking this way will lead people to you, and you'll be like a magnet.
I think Ron Paul is a good example. He looks very week, and he is a little cartoony looking, and if his personality fit the way he looks, then he would not be respected. But, the way he stands and speaks with authority and attentiveness demands respect and adoration despite personal opinion or views on what is attractive.

Tiswas,
People who believe in themselves and hold themselves in high-esteem will be the ones who also spend the time to look good outwardly. The way in which a person looks is usually the outward manifestation of the way they feel about themselves inwardly.
Granted, there are people who look good to get sex, or notoriety, and so on. However, very quickly these people will become unattractive once that personality and bigotry shines through... it's inevitable. No one wants an overly prideful and "into himself" jock son of a bitch working in an office position, because he'll just piss everybody the fuck off. Likewise, no one wants a snake with a sly perfect grin driving around a BMW and weasling his way out of the fact that he has no real skills in life.
I have a lot of self-confidence, but I also know my place. However, because I have self-confidence I feel just fine going to a formal dinner with a flannel shirt on. Yet, I also look good, because I keep myself fresh, I work out, I try and eat right, and balance myself out. So my clothes are who I am, but the way I act and speak and carry myself shows more than a square jaw and fancy suit ever could. People wonder why I'm able to get just about everything I set out to get, but it's because I level with people, treat them with respect, and demand respect in return... but I never have to voice that.
It's partly acting, and it's partly understanding that you can't let how you feel about yourself get the best of you.
So, attractive and well-taken care of people usually do get all of the "perks", but I'll tell you right now that it either won't last, or they'll fall into a superficial barbie-doll world in which they will only be laughed at despite their indulgence. The rest of us will have to work a little harder to be noticed, but we'll be respected for years after our deaths.

I agree with that statement. I have worked in the unemployment industry and it is a fact. It is not hard to look presentable. If you turn up for a job in scruffy clothes and ungoomed, then you will not even be considered. This is understandable. If you aren't going to take pride in yourself, then why would you take pride in the job?
Depends on the job and the prejudices of the employer as to whether looks come into the equation. It shouldn't but it does. I would like to think that most of us here would not be that small minded.

Jobs, more money and having the status of a good looking partner is always important to folk. Also when some one who is good looking with a nasty mind, say David Duke, Niomi Campbell and a few others are in the spotlight - people will listen to them for they have the good looks.
So all of you, take pride in your appearance.
Did you know that being 'good looking' (ie. attractive)
In the convention sense of the word
Is to do with facial symmetry?
And that facial symmetry is a big
Pointer to physical health, youth and genetic quality?
Thus, someone with a symmetrical/beautiful face
Is more likely to produce healthy, 'perfect' children
Which is why we would choose them as a mate
Or employee, or whatever.
Facial assymmetry is however actually
Far more prevalent than symmetry,
So 'beautiful' people are actually freaks lol.
Having said that, I hope that
We are evolving past the level of only choosing
Mates/etc based on genetic quality and
Reproduction capabilities etc ;)
Because that's our subconscious, animal conditioning kicking in.
Hopefully we can look deeper than that and see
The REAL beauty that lies WITHIN.
After all, we all get old and wrinkly and saggy
No matter how we look in our 20's.
And who's to say that's not beauty
In it's own right?
The whole bullshit celebrity/magazine beauty thing sucks.
I just watched Louis Theroux on Plastic Surgery this evening.
OMG it was sooo fucking gross.
People basically mutilating themselves in order to look 'good'.
But did they look 'good'?
Did they fuck!
A woman of about 26 had lipo and tummy tuck
Done because she had about half an inch of body fat.
After the lipo, no more fat but a huge red 12" scar
Across her stomach.
WHY?
All these plastic surgery fools
End up looking the same, like a moulded clone.
To me beauty is in diversity and uniqueness
Everyone's beautiful and it has fuck all to do with
The way your features are arranged on your face.
:o
And if anyone won't be with me, or employ me etc
Because of the shape of my face
Then they can just fuck off and shove it up their bottom.
:)

There are loads of examples in looking good to improve your life:
The wives who lose weight to keep the husband.
The movie star who goes to the gym for more film roles.
Also many other things, such as, status. I know this is status but it seems a bit hypocritical that there are threads on beautigul women/handsome guys when you are all saying this is a troll thread. Did you know that a person who takes care with the looks always earns and acheives more. This is a sad fact of life.:(

Pfft.
What a complete load of shit.....
This reminds of a quote I once read in a tattoo magazine. They were interviewing a mayan with tatts all over his body including his face......the interviewer asked the man what it was like to get his face tattoed, if it had made things harder for him......he responded by saying it was the best thing he had ever done, because the instant he meets someone he can tell right away whether or not he wants to spend any more time with them......if they judged him by the way he looked rather than by who he is he wanted nothing to do with the shallow fucks and neither do I.....
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
Anyone who judges people by their looks is not worth my time.
I'm what you would call average but if I hit that dancefloor and bust a groove like no ones watching I'll have half a dozen of the hottest (IMO) birds in the club dancing with me.....and not because of my looks because of my confidence........love yourself no matter what you look like, because I gaurantee if you be yourself and find your groove there will always be someone who finds you attactive, and it won't be some shallow materialistic shell, but a real person who will love you for who you are....
Power to the peaceful.
Mitchell.

I doubt you will find too many here who agree that jobs, money, good looking partners and status are important.Maybe in an ideal world ..... but in this "un-ideal" world ..... few people would prefer to be unemployed, broke and with an ugly partner .....

So true ..... but it is men who "corrupt" beautiful women by treating them differently and putting them on a pedestal ..... it's a miracle to find a women with beauty and intelligence and character ..... often one quality will prevent the development of another .....
Maybe when Genetic Manipulation really takes off and everybody on earth is Beautiful and Intelligent ..... then people may see each other for who/what they really are .....

Dunno if anyone else has mentioned this but, "looking good" is nothing more than someone's perception and varies greatly depending on who you ask. You may look like the best thing since sliced bread to one gal, while the other may see you as a sissified conceited nobody.

IMAGE is EVERYTHING! Listen to Madison Ave... they know what they're talking about. "Look good... or die trying..." should be the new lyrics of, "America the Beautiful."
...America... America... look good or die trying...
Something along these lines.

I wasn't referring to the world :)
I was referring to people on this forum many of whom are unemployed by choice because they refuse to work for the puppet masters.
And just because one is not beautiful by societies' standards, doesn't mean they are ugly.

Right! we live in the subjective world of forms
being subjective it varies from one to another.
Buddha was given a talk, in front row where a thief,
a prostitute , and a creative writer.
The Buddha ended his talk by saying: "I am sure you all must go back to work"
The thief said "how did he know I was a thief?(to a thief stealing is work)
this man is incredible. The prostitute said: "how did this man know I was a prostitute? (Prostitution is what she understands by work) , and the creative writer said: "how did he know I just finished my new book? This man is a genius(to a creative writer that is work). No matter how clearly one speaks, people will understand different things. So "looking good" is in the "EYE AND EAR OF THE BEHOLDER".
INFINITE LOVE:D:)

:)If you are confident, smart, funny, spiritually aware, creative, clean, groomed, then everyone will think you "look good"!
(not necessarily in that order)
Smell good? = Get lots more sex!! Incentive?

Everything that can be used for good purpose can be used for evil purpose.
The same applies to good looks.
Humans should be in golden age of spiritual and physical evolution.
Which means that we should be in balanced state of existence, so good looks are equally important as our personalities and spiritual growth.
However unfortunately most people in this world as you know are far from this golden age.

PMSL!!! Thants the funniest thing ive seen since cf24's spun out elderly lady who went down a hole!!! :D
I'd love t-shirt with it on!! lol
PS; i believe that beauty is in the eye of the beholder but in the
3D/mainstream world- tiswas' statement holds a lot of truth, this is the way that we are expected to conduct ourselves if we want to 'get anywhere', be well presented and clean etc....she's right, you dont often get anywhere if you arnt- the majority of people who are employers want those credentials as they've been conditioned to believe that this will bring them more business the more professional-smart-apprearance! Its sad but true, now im sure a lot of people on here arnt like that and find it very absurd but the majority still expect this and in that sense i think tiswas has a point!:)
also- i dont know why- but i actually enjoy being well presented myself- it makes me feel clean and confident....is this just conditioning?:)

I was thinking that perhaps it should be possible to do a slow shapeshift. All people do a slow shapeshift, for example children will grow and even change their appearance over a time period of one year. Adults too shapeshift as time goes by.
My new theory is that if I feel good, I will slowly shapeshift into a more beautiful physical shape. :D

That a great theory, we all shapeshift in the sense that every single cell in our body is replaced - every 7 years we literally have a new body!!
Also quite often as we grow we change like you say- as i child i felt quite ugly - i think i was but as i grew up i morphed into something slightly more pretty!! The ugly duckilng story.....although i have got 'swan' status yet!! LOL!!
I think sometimes you can meet someone who's astheticly pleasing to the eye but then they talk and they are ugly because of their personality, other times you meet people who look 'average' or not so pleasing on the conditioned eye and suddenly you realise how beautiful they are becauise of the way they carry themselves or through their love and kindness! :)

Yes, I think it was Bruce Lipton who said that we are made in the image of the cells. It is of utmost importance that we give the cells the right environment. Bruce Lipton talked about how he used to take cells from people and the cells would grow better in a petri dish than in the person! :D Emotional health is key. Of course that is related to social health and physical health and so on, but the right kind of environment for the cells will feel right, I have no doubt about that.
