Anybody else ever wonder why there are giant doorways and ceilings in catherdrals, churches & federal buildings?

Been curious about that! I think there is more to it than just architecture.

I don't know, the Romans with their Pillars and high ceilings and the Egyptian Pyramids started the trend.

No they are a fake from a photo competition. I had to embarrasingly go around and tell my mates they were'nt real after telling them they were - I had been suckered when I first saw them. :D
