Did you know? there are now unisex toilets in schools across the UK. Just heard about this today.
What do you think?
I think its a abit brash, tbh?
Unisex toilets to tackle bullies

I just thought the idea was wierd?
I can't see how it will tackle bullies, if anything it will promote just another strain of mind games. If your not attractive what the fuk are you doing in here. It will be used by the popular I should imagine. It is an elite toilet area, so it will attract the elite mindset.
Yet more singling out?
They should turn them into prayer rooms.
I would still like to know why? Results are indicative and may not reflect public opinion?
It's looking like that it does reflect public opinion, just goes to show that no one at the BBC can really be arsed, editing that bit. Which does my head in. It just shows that they can spare an error here and there, whilst they all get pissed. I hate early finishers.
Why would that not change? I just cant believe that it doesnt change, because that is not real-time information. Its just a sticky. So I dont get it.

I hate urinals, they are like a sick joke on heterosexual men.

I could not resist commenting on this. There are many people who feel that men should use urinals because otherwise they leave the toilet seat up where one can see all the nasties on the underside of the seat.
Just my two cents on this. I hope no one takes offense.

It is more of a privacy issue to me rather than one of hygiene, tbh I would even have a urinal at home if I could since it really does feel better when standing up ;)

That is another thing that I had thought about. Not only that but I reckon there will be more than average curiosity now, directed towards the girls in terms of waste products, such as guess, sanitary towels and such. No doubt?
These unisex toilets are going to come with their fare share of stigma on all sides, so I cant see why it is a revolutionary idea? that is going to stop anything?
And why would a girl/woman want to use a toilet next to a lad having a shite? I can see a lot of trouble coming from this idea, eventually it'll get scrapped I reckon. Girls need privacy, boys dont really care who hears them taking a wazz. Unless they have the radio playing?

Actually, I had always wondered why the west which condems muslims for segregation of the sexes in education for example (boy and girl only schools), does the same thing when it comes to other things (separate man and woman toilets). Whenever I visit these places, I am reminded of apartheid laws in South Africa :(

Why don't we leave toilet seats up and when a woman wants to use it put it down and when finished put it back up again? No? Thought not.
Why must it stay down is it law to? No it isn't

No doubt these will be modern toilets, I bet the seat lowers after a set time?

LOL, I don't particularly feel like I'm engaging in homosexual activity when I'm standing next to someone peeing :D A bit prudish if you ask me :p

There are actually toilets that do such a thing. Funny thing is, it was portrayed as a joke on a TV sitcom Home Improvement over 15 years ago and recently became a reality.
