I saw a great wheel of time. Wooden in form cast in iron turning slowly.

Secondary to this I saw a dark coloured (near to black) covenant box floating through space.

So...Is there anything we can learn from it?

i was hoping you could help me with that one lol

but it would however point to some transcendental point in time. it was like a clock ticking

i have also been having notions of time-travel (ridiculous as it may sound), in the sort of back to the future sense, where my future self is editing history for a certain purpose.

insane as it sounds yes i know but it's an interesting area for consideration

Well it sounds like you saw a kind of mandala, obviously I don't know because I did not see it...

I hope the wiki-hero's don't jump on me for this one but a mandala loosely represents the cosmos from a symbolic point of view, many of them have time as a theme...

The mind was trying to communicate with you and you interpreted the train of higher thought with that symbolic representation. You could say that you had a eureka moment. Some occultists believe that you invoked an energy which was interpreted that way to you but I don't like that idea as it springs from psychology and their interpretation of the psycho spiritual phenomenon (which is far too impersonal yet also not in connection with spirit). I would say you had a spark of inspiration from your higher genius.

Beware, the ego contorts and confuses beyond recognition and much working is needed to be done to start to interpret them with any accuracy.

Could it be this?

A wheel of time portraying that time is more circular than linear.
A wooden one to show the structure is natural, yet relative, as it is crafted and shaped by man.
Cast in iron to display the definite boundaries ( or focus) of human potential.
(meaning we can only perceive so much “time” neurologically)
Turning slowly to reveal the process is subjective, and happens according to individual needs/ readiness .

The ticking could be an interval like a “time out”, like the timelessness that the structure rests within.
And supports it.

I duno, just my three cents. ( I have one penny extra)

thank you that's really interesting

i must also say that the wheel remind me of a cog as a part of a great machine

and the box (so dark and solid) must have contained a great secret integral to the functioning of this machine

who knows!
