I definately don't know... my first thought when I first saw her stuff was Fraud.
She has like a million books. And everytime I've been in the book store, ALL her books are cover-out, taking up almost an entire shelf. Wtf?
I haven't even looked inside one of her books, so I couldn't tell ya :o

Check out this site, they have a list of how many times she's been wrong with her predictions.

They also have an interview with her ex-husband, who admits that she's a fraud.

She's a fraud.
I think there may have been a time in her life when she may have displayed some psychic abilities, but I think something (money) got in the way and dulled her senses.
She's a media whore.
Thumbs down to Sylvia Browne

I used to read her stuff a lot but in the past few years I have been turned off of her. She is always coming out with more books, where does she find the time? I think she does have some psychic abilities but has been blinded by green.

From Browne's 2005 book, Secrets & Mysteries of the World, page 196:
"If the Shroud were in fact painted, it would explain some image flaws that have always raised questions. For example, the hair hangs as for a standing rather than a reclining figure; the physique is unnaturally elongated (like figures in Gothic art); and the 'blood' flows are unrealistically neat (instead of matting the hair, for instance, they run in rivulets on the outside of the locks). You see, real blood soaks into cloth and spreads in all directions rather than leaving picturelike images."
From Nickell's 1998 article, in the July/August 1998 issue of Skeptical Inquirer magazine, page 21:
"That the Shroud is indeed the work of a medieval artist would explain numerous image flaws. For example, the physique is unnaturally elongated (like figures in Gothic art!). Also, the hair hangs as for a standing rather than recumbent figure. . . . Everywhere the 'blood' flows are unrealistically neat. Instead of matting the hair, for instance, they run in rivulets on the outside of the locks. . . . In addition, real blood soaks into cloth and spreads in all directions, rather than leaving picturelike images."

Wow...not one original thought of her own then. So, she's a fraud AND a plagiarist...
Not really surprised.

what i don't understand is she's a fraud then how come some of her books are so wise. it doesn't sound like its coming from a person who is a bad person. her books soul's perfection, and good vs evil are really good.

I was listening to Coast to Coast AM with George Noory on January 4, 2006, the night when it was erroneously reported in the news media that 12 of 13 miners trapped in a coal mine had been found alive. Responding to that good news, Sylvia said, "I knew they were going to be found." Later in the program, the news media reported the tragic reverse, that 12 of the 13 miners had been killed in the mine collapse. Read the transcript and hear the audio here:
