OK.... sigh... I ordered a copy. 20.00 to ship to the states. To bad they can't send me a pallet of them and I'll sell them on ebay under the ickes account for we US folks to get a break on shipping.
Is there a shipping date? anyone know? I wonder if I will get an email when it ships....

It is when people don't really have $20 to spare....
It works the same for everyone.
I was going to order a series of books I want from amazon but the freight cost as much as the books, something like $70 for standard mail.
I am not aware of a shipping date as yet :)

Too bad Amazon is so expensive for Australia. I would say, "we have the same problem in different directions". If you live in the U.S. and spend over $25 on amazon, the shipping is free, except for special orders from other sellers through Amazon. (I paid the $20 for David's book to Hawaii).

well you're posting on this forum for free, aren't you?.
Plus, is Icke not allowed to make a living while he reveals his findings? Presumably what you want from him is to do all the research for you- save your lazy ass- whilst starving to death.

Forums like this are virtually free to set up :)
Nobody is against him making a living, people are a bit upset with the high prices, especially since most of it isn't even anything new,or primary research.

the forum isn't free to set up, it's part of the website and it all costs money, paying for hosting servers and so on. Try setting one up for free and see how shoddy it looks. And since when is twenty quid extortionate for a book?. Have you been buying books in the mainstream bookshops lately; have you seen the price of them?. And, also, it's a little bit prescient of you to declare that there is no new stuff in Icke's book when you haven't even read it yet (and in which case, if there is No New Stuff in the book why are you carping about the price because surely you wouldn't be dumb enough to buy a book that has nothing new to tell you, would you?).
It is all quite simple really; if you don't want to buy it, don't.

Virtually free. I think the vbulletin software is around £100,and its only been recently that the main site has become more visually appealing. Im sure the main site is built with Joomla [a free open source cms] and I understand it costs money to host the site, but I doubt it breaks the bank considering how much David must make from his tours etc.. [Doesnt david host this site on hiw own server anyway?]
Also,I did set up a site completely free when I ran the radio show,it was pretty good, especially for a free site.

Its is a bit steep, but what op meant was the shipping on top of that price. As for declaring there's nothing new,it's just my own opinion,if anything was groundbreaking I'm sure David would have mentioned it in the newsletter or in the news section. Its like watching an Alex Jones documentary whilst listening to him daily, there's virtually nothing new in his films that isn't already known. David is kinda the same, his talks over the past few years haven't changed that much, just a few new things put in and old/irrelevant things taken out. Ive nothing against David,I enjoyed his Brixton 08 talk and the one he did in Australia, but a lot of the information in there is just things other researchers have already done.
I will probably get this from library when I get the time :)

well I disagree that much hasn't changed in David's books and talks; it's been obvious for any astute observer for quite a while that he has wanted to drop much of the conspiracy stuff and move on to the nature of who we are and what we are. That has been a theme from the beginning of his work, for sure, but he has been moving more and more into that area for some time and it is a zone of discomfiture for a lot of people who follow his writings for its exposure of the NWO and the like but find the more spiritual/metaphysical side a tiptoe too far.
There are still people out there that are unaware of those that conspire against them so I suppose Icke feels somewhat duty bound to still inform them but he sees the thrust of his work- and the freedom from the very conspiracy that surrounds us- in the nature of ourselves and our self created existence. I think that is why he wrote the Global Conspiracy book; it was his way of summing up his work 'til then before moving on into new- and for some, I'm sure,- uncomfortable territory with his new book, much the way he did with The Biggest Secret and before that with "..and the truth shall set you free".
By the way, don't underestimate how much it costs to set up these talks he does and all the traveling. I attended his talks when you could count the attendance in double figures and he would turn up to them pulling an old ladies trolley laden with his lap top and a few accessories and Linda would be unloading books from- often- a friends car. He's put the time and effort in and changed many lives so I don't begrudge him making enough money to live and have a few comforts out of what he does. And, if it is the shipping that is bothering people, blame the Post Office and not Icke.

Why are you and some others getting so upet because I compalined about shipping rates? David has nothing to with that. The normal shipping for a book within the us about 3.50 or so... so paying 20.00 shipping is a BIG difference. Here in the states we have something called media mail. It's a cut rate for books and media.
I was just saying I wish there was a way for we americans to get lower shipping costs.

talk about the pot calling the kettle black!. I think that maybe it is you who needs to read the posts before making fatuous comments. I was responding to what catnap wrote (which is the quote that you have repeated) and then to the further comments made by joe911. I never mentioned or directed any comments towards ufochick who was hardly making a complaint at all and mostly asking a question about shipping dates.
You are correct about one thing though; and it is to do with ignorant assholes who don't bother to read posts.

please just read the post I made in reply to convulsions for breakfast; I wasn't, am not, nor likely to be "upset" by the comments that you made. My comments were in response to the comments of others. No wonder Icke has to repeat his information so often if people can't even follow a simple thread on a forum!

There's a brilliant three hour illustrated interview where he explains much about his book, and guess what, it's completely free! :p
