I have used this to complelty relive stomach pains and digestion problems.

I first found out about it's use when i had painfull liver pain from abusing certain pills which went away instantly with this tea, today i used it because I have had very serious diarrhea which had me up all night feeling very drained losing lots of fluid my stomach was making very loud noises all day and night and it has gone on for 2 days, one cup and im cured, no pain no discomfort or the need to go.

Amazing stuff and it is cheap and easy to get.

Is there any particular make of Red Tea you would recommend, or would it just be any ? :)

The one I drink is called Tick Tock Organic Rooibos Tea. It tastes really nice, much more mellow than black tea. I buy it in Sainsbury's.

Do try it.
In 1997 I began experiencing severe stomach pains,I mean they were so bad that i could not stand up,but only lay on the floor in great pain.I dont know what caused it but i think it was an ulcer.

After just 2 days drinking Kombucha tea the pain left me never to return.
Its very simple to make and has many different uses.Its magic.

I started drinking Rooibos a few years ago when i was the volunteer chef at a Christian cafe/bookshop on the suggestion of the south africa waitress. It was very nice with both milk or without. I soon developed a thirst for it which i have to this day. I would recommend it to anyone.

Yeah, Red Roobios is pretty good. It's mild with a faint smokey flavor that goes well with a little milk or cream added.

I just got some Yogi Tea Kombucha. Haven't tried it yet though.

I have been combining rooibos tea with green tea lately for a synergistic effect.

Here is some health details on red tea. I'm amazed it's the most potent anti-oxident so far known from a plant.:eek::)

The findings from research conducted in Japan indicated that the anti-aging properties found in Rooibos Tea (Red Bush Tea) far exceeded any other known plant on earth. It has a substantial amount of a very special enzyme, Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) which is a prime preventer of Free Radical Damage.

Red Tea is also rich in Quercetin, the flavonol that has beneficial effects on numerous ailments. It is well known for increasing capillary strength, which aids in circulation, prevents hemorrhaging, and protects against infections.

Nutrients in 200 ml. of Red Tea

* Iron (Fe) 0.07 mg
* Potassium (K) 7.12 mg
* Sodium (Na) 6.16 mg
* Calcium (Ca) 1.09 mg
* Copper (Cu) 0.07 mg
* Zinc (Zn) 0.04 mg
* Magnesium (Mg) 1.57 mg
* Fluoride (F) 0.22 mg
* Manganese (Mn) 0.04 mg

I switched to Red Bush a while ago and havent looked back. Will only drink regular tea if theres no RB available!

and I was told by a specialist the best thing for stomach cramps is milk of magnesia in a dilution and to up the fibre intake. Used to get really bad cramps and he said that all the sennakot / diocalm type of tablets do is either cause muscle contriction or relaxation. Milk of Magnesia is the best thing as it doesnt cause further spasming of the stomach muscles. Not had any problems since.

Red bush tea taken before bedtime help ensure a good sound sleep. It can be used to ease nervous and stomach tension.

It can be given to babies to ease colic and is also a healthy substitute for sugary drinks.

Rooibos can be made as normal tea and used with or without milk and or sugar.
I prefer mine brewed for 5 minutes (stronger) and only with milk as it has a slightly sweet taste.

Not many people know that it can be made up and used in place of milk in cooking and baking. A variety of beverages (alcoholic and none alcoholic) can be made from it. Spiced teas using cinnamon are very popular.

Rooibos only grows naturally on slopes of the Cedaberg mountains outside Clanwilliam in the Western Cape of South Africa.

Someone from America tried to patent it a few years ago. Thank goodness it was over ruled or we would be paying pharma prices for it now.
