Hi! Has anyone here got the ionic foot bath done yet? I went a couple of days ago and detoxed my liver. The water turned dark brown (it was pulling out the tabacco and tar), black (my liver), with white foam (my lymphatic system), and "cottage cheese" like particles because I had alot of yeast in me (I love sugar :D). Disgusting I know, (that's why when I recieve the pics I won't post them) but that's what it looks like with all the smoking along with poor dieting. I will be going back to get my smoker's and yeast cleanse. The smoker's cleanse will help stop cigarette cravings while cleaning my lungs and the yeast cleanse get help get rid of the yeast and control my sugar cravings.:o

I wanted to mention that I've had a serious increase of energy for the past two days and have not had the cravings for sodas or anything starchy like french fries and breads.

The only thing I know about them is from a reading up on a few sites, one in particular mentioned how when left alone at the spa during the detox he never actually placed his feet into the water and yet it still turned to mud

Unsure of what else to say as there do seem to be people like yourself who think it is actually helping them, would be great if they actually do work.

Until someone comes up with a way of recreating the detox at an affordable and simple diy level am thinking to give it a wide berth as most places offering it charge a hefty price.

I just wanted to add here in the Uk alot of the more reputable alternative health clinics do not offer it, which also adds to my suspicion.

Interesting to hear from anyone else with actual experience.

Btw depending on the type of foot detox (liver, yeast, lymphatic) do they add anything different to the water or not?

I also think you should post pics :D

Yes, I believe the 'toxins' you see are just rust. The good feeling felt afterwords can be attributed to a placebo effect ("I should feel good, I got all those toxins out of my system!").

Total scam that needs to be exposed...I wasted enough of my own money on them before I found out the truth.

I used one for a while, until the day I turned it on and was distracted by a phone call. It ended up running for a half an hour without me feet in it. The water changed color just the way it always had been.

It wasn't removing ANYTHING from my body.

I took it back to the store and got a refund.

I also think you should post pics :DHere's the thing there's nothing placed in the water but a device and the water doesn't turn brown with everyone, it just depends on what you're body needs detoxing from. I know I have a yeast problem and smoking. There was one woman who's water turned dark green indicating gall bladder. The nurse gave me a color chart. There was some stinging in my toes I forgot to mention.:o

It should cost no more than $40 btw, very cheap

Like I said it would be great if they actually work and at that price it seems more affordable than the ones I have seen over here in the Uk, do you know how much these units actually cost?

I might look into these further would be good if those posting it is a scam can give actual reasons for why they think that, adds a little more to the discussion if nothing else.

One final note Demon you said you will go back to get a smokers and yeast cleanse, how will they manage to target just those areas and not just detox you as a whole, now do you see why I asked if anything else was added into the water depending on the type of detox/cleanse being done.

The way I see it is it just detox's you as a whole, assuming it even works that is.

Sorry, but there is no possible way this could work. Does anyone actually believe that soaking your feet could suck the toxins from your lymph nodes, liver, kidneys, pancreas, lungs, etc. all the way down through your body and out of your feet in just a matter of minutes? NFW!

IMO, that $40 would be better spent on a Turmeric-Milk Thistle-Artichoke supplement. Your liver will thank you, you'll feel better, and it actually works.
