logic bomb

Well, well, well. That time has come again when I have to decide whether to pay for a TV licence or just ignore the reams of threats coming through the door. I've never paid it before but that was because, apart from the obvious reasons, the BS that was perpetuated that they could detect if you were using your telly or not. Well they could in theory but only if your house was removed from a street I believe.. anyway I'm moving into a detached house and was wondering if anyone knew if it is now more possible to detect now everything has gone digital.
They like to boast that they fine about a 1000 or so people a year but that doesn't seem like a high number to me and probably equates with the amount of really stupid people who get caught out for being, well, really stupid.
So.. what are your experiences with paying or not paying TV Tax and is it now easier to detect whether you use the idiot box.
