if i was there, i'd have bought them another flag and told them to fly it however they like.
blind devotion to an inanimate symblol. amazing.
as if the way they flew the flag infringed on that guys life?
the govt laws that determine how, when and where you can fly an american flag , is in my opinion.. bullshit.
i wonder if you were to make a flag similar to an american flag, but different enough to be distinguishable, and flew it against every law... would anything legal come of it?
i'd kind of like to try that lol.

Well he does have a point. Though nationalism, of course, is total bullshit.. he does have a point, because that's just NAU right there.
In a time of peace. Well first of all when has there ever been such a thing. But secondly, this isn't a "time of peace" when this country is being intentionally dismantled on every level, from morals to economy to borders.
Look at it from the guys POV, he's a vet. He prob lost a few good friends defending his country. So to him, it's kinda a slap in the face isn't it ?
This prob explains it better than I can :-

So you prefer globalisation that does away with nationalism? Who's freedom are you actually fighting for?
If someone burnt my nations flag I would be a bit pissed of to. Not because it's just a flag or that I am materialistic. But, because it represents a unity, hope and way of life among the people, which is exactly what the globalists and europhiles fear.
A lot of nationalists I know have respect for other nationalists of other nations.
Those who claim to be nationalists or patriots and bring you nothing but shame or hate to their nation are not nationalists or patriots.
It's like religion in a way as you always get the nutter who translates everything to suit his or her bigoted ideals of society. Then you have to quiets ones who just follow the teachings of Jesus, the non-church going ones who finds religion gives them a peaceful heart.
I am a bit of the former but not the latter, except that bit about being cool with each other.
Anarchy will just lead to Europol and Marshall law. PRS?
