Contact your MP about this.
In 4 years the Government want to cut many jobs in the Job Centers and other public services and replace them with on line services that can only be accessed by computer. People will be made redundant and we will all be plugged into the computer to get access to vital services. One more step to wards the computer controlled Big Brother State!
Cutting Civil Servants pensions is just one more step towards this. The Government will then be able to make massive job cuts which they plan to do when everybody will be forced to have a Government Web Page!

So what!!! Fuck em!!! Civil servents (the majority) have a condescending lax approach and negative attitude/arrogance towards the public, their state craft bitches at all cost, protect our pensions, protect our high salaries...
So there now loosing their jobs and their gold plated pensions, and expect "we the people" to rally round and support them...
Fuck em, its about time that the servents of the NWO come down with a fucking bump, dirty work complete, duty discharged and now there on the scrap heap with the rest of us...
MIGHT WAKE THE FUCKERS UP
...perhaps there are still some diamonds in the rough afterall....:D

Good.
Sadly the truth is the opposite.
While he was Chancellor, the one-eyed Scottish idiot created over one million useless bureaucratic jobs with index linked pensions, which future generations will have to pay for, which is no wonder the UK is almost bankrupt. Brown did this to increase the power and reliance of the state and to buy Labour voters.

4 years? Do we have to wait that long? Anything that reduces the size of the state and the DWP (Which is one of the UK's largest employers and produces nothing for the economy) is a good thing. I will contact my MP and ask why it is taking so long.
I fail to see how a web based service could be any less corrupt, incompetent, vindictive and breathtakingly inefficient than the humans operating it right now. I know, I worked all over the UK for the DWP in all of it's corrupt head office departments for many years. I was also privy to policy and policy making, which is why I resigned.
BTW - All that would change is getting rid of the middleman, because a great majority is already automated and the input is done by overpaid jobsworths who love the power they have over the welfare or not of their "customers". EDS and now HP put in all the shitty systems for them based upon the shitty policies that are hidden from the public - their employers. People would just have to enter in their own details instead and be dealt with by a shitty system with shitty policies.
Are civil servants so removed from society that they think anyone would feel sorry for their plight? If the public knew what went on in the DWP, there would be angry mobs with pitchforks and lanterns turning up at Stockley Park, Sheffield, Lythm St. Anns, Preston, Newcastle et al.

I worked in a Jobcentre for just under 6 months and then quit and walked out one day never to return. What a dire place to work and most of the management level staff are as square as a fucking square can be.
They have this mentality that being a "civil servant" somehow puts them above the rest of us.
It wasn't hard to imagine some of them kneeling by the sides of their beds in the morning and praying "thankyou oh mighty one (DWP)".

Aha, that'll be their Common Purpose training.
