Hi
In the last 3 or 4 months, but a bit worse recently, I seem to have been suffering from what I think is panic attacks on and off, especially at night, seem to go into a state of not breathing when drifting off to sleep and then spring up panic breathing and gulping really quickly with a sort of tight chest and tingly legs.
Can't think why this is happening, I haven't got anything that is troubling me especially but last night I went to bed and as I noticed it was happening when lying there before going to sleep I noticed that my throat was swelling up and a tightness in my breathing and knots in stomach, I sat bolt upright and was breathing a bit heavy with a kind of funny kind of sense in my sight, almost as if tripping a wee bit but without hallucinating.
Also my stomach is gurgling, lots of farting and growling, movement sounds etc.
One other thing I got and it woke me up was my leg jerking violently and a feeling of alarm for a second, as if kicking out.
Has anyone ever experienced this, what can it be.
Tonight I have put some of these burning oils on and feel a good bit calmer etc sitting in my room. I think there has been a sort of precendent set that I wil think about this every time I go to bed and it happens.
Strange, although I have a good mind and can force myself, to an extent, to calm down.

Whatever kind of place or activity you deem to be tranquil could be the spring of a more concerted effort to regain control of self and inner balance. :)

Could be sleep apnea.

I can say that I had those symptoms 2 months ago,now they are gone.
All I can say is that has to do with the awakening symptoms.
It happened speccially at night, just after laying down for sleep, never happened during sleep, noticed first like a difficult to breed and need to breath more deeply and those stomach syptoms you mentioned.I figured out that breeding more deeply and calmly, filling completly the lungs helped a lot. Also the heart started to beat relly fast with shivers too..ringing ears,headaching..
Yes,keep the good mind!that helps a lot too!And I had no reason to start feeling that way...
But analyzing my life, that happened just in the right time!It made me look to my inner self and see what I have been done wrong to my body.
I can say to you that I gave up eating crap, like fast food, Gm foods, and start eating organic.quit alcohol, although I just drank ocasionally, coffee, ciggarrets. That was something I had promised to myself and I was always delaying it lol.
I feel much better now!But I'm more sensitive to energies like feeling vibrations, sensitive to magnetic fields...I was searching more on the web I found out that it has something to do with the activity that there is in the Sun in the past months and the boost of Light energies into our planet which is increasing day by day.You can search also for the awakening symptoms, was very clear for me and will tell you a lot.
Relax! We are not the only ones!

To add to what mindlouka said, I would add a few basic Yoga stretches before bedtime while focusing on the good things that happened to you throughout that day. This will help take your mind off of your problems and help to turn off your fight or flight programming, which is actually the cause of panic attacks. The symptoms you are feeling are from the cortisol and adrenaline that your overactive fight or flight is causing to be released.

sounds like you have some indimensional work going on. MANY people are experiencing similar things I have put my list up so many times I am getting weary of doing it. On my blog on my signature there is a large list of things that may indicate interdimensiona Beings are giving you a "tune up".
Check it out you may find some answers. They are here and are prepping some humans for a future event. Just like David talks about having to suddenly go to sleep and then feeling like he has been downloaded with info. They are working on our physical and energy (etheric) bodies. I assume to align them like I said for a future event. It's not a panic attack.
My email is listed on the blog if need any help. It's still going on with me.
