America yes certainly could be the Babylonian BEAST system, but `mystery babylon` more fits the false religious system.
Keep in mind that Scripture says : `Come out of her my people`
Now if America is `Mystery babylon` then would it be reasonable for God to expect everyone to come out of America ?
Such would be impossible - (think about the poor, and the homeless, and the sick) God doesnt ask the impossible.
Just my opinion, and how I see it - but I respect your opinions too.

But then there`s also that Prophecy by St. Malachy (err decernment) and how he said that during the time of the final pope that ROME would be destroyed.
Dont want to send this thread off topic here but what St. Malachy said might help throw some light on it, especially whilst the next Pope might just be a (black) man from Ghana called Peter (as foretold by Malachy)

When the Roman Vatican became its own city-state in 1929, at the Signing of the Lateran Treaty, then the Roman Vatican became an officially recognized political entity, as well as a religious one. So when the pope attends the General Assembly of the United Nations, he's not only there as a religious leader; but also as a POLITICIAN.
Except ask yourself this: Why is it that when the pope attends the UN Assembly, he's given his own seat, on-stage; with security guards at both sides. While the rest of the world's leaders are all seated in the audience, facing the pope. It's called the United Nations - not the "United Nations of Rome". But yet why do the world's leaders accept this, who are from non-Catholic religions?

So we have the Roman Catholic church, who appears to be "riding on the back" of the United Nations.
But we're given certain characteristics with which to identify the beast. And I've not yet been able to identify it precisely as the United Nations. The beast, itself, is diverse - one beast, but with 7 heads, and 10 horns.
This is shocking, if you can wrap your head around it. It's A LOT of information - I'll try to write it out as short as I can.
1) The title of "pope" already existed prior to the birth of the Roman Catholic church. It was the Roman popes, under the Roman Caesars, who were in charge of overseeing Rome's pagan religion.
2) Between 300-400AD, Emperor Constantine forces the conversion of the Roman Empire to (false) Christianity. The Roman popes now become the overseers of Rome's new religion - Roman paganism, disguised as Christianity. The Roman Catholic church, now in her infancy stages, is born.
3) Some time after this, Rome begins to propagate the lie that the Roman pope is the direct successor of Jesus Christ's apostle, Peter. If that were true, the title of pope would not have existed prior to Christ's first coming; and the Catholic church would not have been born more than 400 years AFTER Christ had already founded His Church. None-the-less, Catholics still believe it to this day - that their popes are Peter's successors.
4) The Roman Empire is conquered, and the Caesar's are conquered with them. But NOT the Roman popes, who remained the leaders of their new Roman Catholic church. Except, now - without the Caesars - the Roman popes could only hope to be recognized as the religious leaders of their own religion.
5) Until 1929, when the Vatican became its own city-state, at the Signing of the Lateran Treaty/Pacts.
It was in 1929 that the Roman Empire RE-emerged - once again as both a religious and political power in the world!

Ive always suspected its RC church.
My suspicions are : that when the anti-c signs that FALSE peace treaty -
then breaks it.... that`s when Rome will get destroyed...

Babylon is the world economic system, although if we were to assume that is based in the US then it could mean the actual US.
