great video. very good points. it is amazing how much great information is out there on the internet yet how few choose to use it for anything other than numbing the mind.
television is called the boob tube for a good reason. the internet is the information highway, yet the masses choose to be dumb. i still find it useful and amazing though.

Yeah. I wanted to urge people to use the internet for useful things moreover than just entertainment. I find it rather disgusting that we have all of these gizmos... we're connected all of the time. Yet, even though we're connected with our phones, and laptops, and televisions, and just everything...why don't we know what's going on the world or think we can't get our ideas out and that change can't occur?
It's ABSURD if you think about it, hah hah. Just completely absurd "Yeah... I can't do anything, what can I do? Now, hold on, I have to send this podcast to my friend in Japan.... HAH! OMG, he just showed me a picture of himself with chopsticks up his nose. That silly bastard. What? Habeas Corpus is gone? What's that?"

Yet we're more disconnected then ever before, as well.
I was talking to my mom about this very subject the other week..
It's ALL about entertainment. Always have to have something occupying the mind. Boredom (of the boring mind) the biggest 'enemy'.
Gotta see this new movie. Gotta get this new phone. Gotta get this gotta get that gotta see this gotta see that gotta be this gotta be that.

Well...That just seems like living in a whole lotta of fear to me. Whatever happens, I'm not going to be scared of it or go close myself off with a piece of land with some good water on it and then tell everyone else to get off my property whilst sticking a double barrel up their noses.
Just seems a little silly.
