(5) DEPENDENT.—The term ‘‘dependent’’ has the meaning given such term by the Commissioner and includes a spouse.
What about any children of the spouse/dependent?
And then they have the definition of "Family" as:
(9) FAMILY.—The term ‘‘family’’ means an individual and includes the individual’s dependents.
And this one........
(23) STATE.—The term ‘‘State’’ means the 50 States and the District of Columbia.
And what does "education" have to do with health care?
The reconciliation bill reported by the Budget Committee includes provisions for health care reform and for investing in education.
I believe this bill is going to have a lot of people, lawyers included, scratching their heads trying to make sense of everything written.
