you're very welcome amerigirl :)
so sorry for your husband's loss, only 20 years old that's so tragic :( i hope your husband finds some comfort in the feeling of this song.
the lyrics of this song they really sum up what grief feels like, thinking about the person, and getting to grips with life here without them.

I LOVE YOU!
Yes it was added on to an allready finished song!
But none the less it was one of Zoe´s favorite text´s! Added by Puff Daddy!
She lived and went to school in a highly multicultural suburb outside off Stockholm along with her brother, who now lives in Stockholm again!! Luckely life does go on !!
Another one that Zoe liked!!
YouTube - I Believe I Can Fly
Otherwise her taste was very different from this!! Lot´s of song´s from my youth!!
60ties all the way!!
Can I suggest that we make a " Memorial-thread" for all of us here, who lost someone we love? I think it´s important for us to also remember all off our "regular people" who are not here with us anymore and not just the famous ones!! Plus I think it helps to be able to send of some thoughts and feelings out for us, who lives with loss every day!
Becaurse the loss actually never goes away!!! And the reallity of our loved ones forever being out of our "Touch", sometimes hit´s us, even though we know, that in this "Samsara", we will newer meet again!! It helps to express!!!
THANK YOU!

that's a great idea for a memorial thread :) we can put pics too of our loved ones. what heps me now is knowing that my mam has gone to the other side or the next room, and she'll be there when it's my turn too, she'll come and get me, welcome me back with open arms, even though it scares me too to leave this behind...ah life is too complicated!

I just found out that my long time friend Jim died. He was only 25. He died from street racing. Something that I have done with him on more than one occasion. Really makes me stop and think about my priorities in life. Also to realize how short and unexpected that it can really be. At least I understand that after we die our conciousness will still be there because it is infinite. I also found out that my friends dog died recently too, and that his granda is near death. I lost my great-uncle about 2 months ago. It's really hard I guess I've just been bottling up all of my grief but when I found out that my friend died tragizally it just popped. I'm feeling overwhelmed and nervous at the same time. I can't even say goodbye becuase his funeral was earlier this week. I can say goodbbye in my own way though. This sucks.:(

best thing about france - apart from my fiancé lol - is Raphael :)
the day mam was buried i listened to these songs up full blast all the afternoon alone on my bed.
the best memories i have and the worst ones all wrapped up in these songs.
raphaël les petits bateaux - YouTube
les petits bateaux- the little boats - the chorus is: another day goes, turns and turns and never stops, another day goes on its way, and in this little life i don't want to make enemies...just appreciate the beauty life has basically.
YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.
And Caravane is just a song about running away, being in love. I'll be here all day if i translate it fully and it never sounds as good in english as it doe sin french hehe they have a word for everything!
hehe le Raph in english is classic! with Razorlight :)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oE-95GhbnFo&mode=related&search=Raphael%20Haroche%20Pal%C3%A9o%20Concert
BTW in the Caravane video that's his real fiancée which slightly spoils the fantasy i had now that i know that!:D
go on spin her round and round lol off that building! hehe i'm joking off course!:o LMAO
there's another one by Raph called ceci n'est pas un adieu-this is not goodbye forever but i can't find a good clip of it :(

omg i'm so sorry to hear this lilly, my thoughts go out to you...bloody heel what advice can i give you...of course, how you're feeling right now, you're in shock, with losing your uncle too and now your friend, i know it's so hard and throws up so many doubts, questions, whys, what ifs and the rest...
You have someone you can talk to Your parents, friends etc? Don't worry about missing the funeral, you didn't know he had died and your friend would understand. It can seem so unfair, cause he was your friend and only 25, but it's like this, i was only 24 when i lost my mam and she was everything to me. So unfair for someone to be taken at only 25, you're friend was taken cause he had fulfilled whatever he was meant to do here you know...ah damn i'll have to go right now lilly, i'll be back tomorrow if you need to talk ok, feel free to PM if you want to.

Thanks for your post, it's reassuring for some reason. I guess I'm just looking for anyone to cheer me up. This part of your post really "struck a chord/rings a bell". I really believe that this is true. This person certianly live life to the fullest and it seems that he could have lived as much in 25 years as most would in a lifetime. I know that this is silly but I'm getting down because I had a chance to see him a while ago but I didn't because we got in an arguement earlier. I just need to let it out and quit keeping the pain inside. I feel like crying... i gotta go and let this out.:(

I feel like crying... i gotta go and let this out.:(
hey lilly :)
i'm so glad some part of my post helped! i'm sorry i had to rush off!
i've just got the chance to get on here and wanted to see if you're ok, i'll send you a PM :)
As for feeling bad about not seeing your friend cause of an argument etc that's life, we've all been there, i'm the same, thinking of al that happened to my mam before she died, we all feel guilty about things...i know it's a horrible feeling but you don't need to feel bad about anything, really. Life takes us in different directions and it's almost impossible to keep track of everyone, so don't feel bad. Your friend is in a better place now, i'm sure the last thing his consciousness will be thinking about is your arguement :) He's happy and free now, and you're here still so you have to keep going with your life here :)
i know though the grief/shock will make you feel stunned for awhile so make the "best" of it, milk it, get extra cuddles from the one you love sort of thing ;) tell your mom too and get lots of cuddles, that's what i'd do, i wish i could.
i hope you're feeling better lilly, just don't keep it inside, this will make you think about your life and the ones around you losing someone like this, so make sure you talk about it with the ones you trust.
take care my friend, i'm thinking about you!

Thanks, all of what you are saying/typing makes a lot of sense. The weird thing is that I know not to get down about this stuff..like I'm (or should be) way past that type of reaction. It feels like what it is, is that sense I didn't really know how to deal with this sort of thing, my programming kicked in and kinda got the best of me by having that, "oh why me, i should've done this reaction" after i started letting out the grief i was able to really process it out and get over it. i'm sure your correct about how he isnt thinking about some petty agruement now, it's so funny to think that i was getting caught up in that only a couple days ago:o

This was played at my nan's funeral....i had a look for it on you tube and found a great version of it- i forgot how that song gets me- especially on bagpipes....very beautiful, gave me one of those 'umph' feelings in my tummy when i heard it again....

the funny thing is she wanted that song and one that was really funny...she loved 'Queen' and always said she wanted 'Radio Ga Ga' at her funeral so we did it for her- it was quite amusing watching the older members being horrified at the sound of it at a funeral!! LOL- but its what she would have wanted! Hilariously innappropriate...She had a wicked sense of humour....
I love this song anyway- it reminds me of my childhood but more so of Nan...

glad you're feeling a bit better about it now lilly :)
we all get caught up in worrying and doubting things after losing someone suddenly, whether they were close to us or not, it's human nature to do this.
make sure you get plenty of cuddles ;)

oooh i'm coming over all celtic after listening to your bagpipes lottie :D great tribute to your nan :)
great find, i love amazing grace too, your nan must have had a real cracking personality :) amazing grace and queen being played at her funeral!
haha they actually played radio ga ga? :D that's so funny! sounds like what my auntie would ask for too, she's got that kind of sense of humour too like your nan ;)
haha radio ga ga!
The images in the amazing grace video were very moving, like the way they put angels beside each image of someone in despair.
