Having been back and forth with Christophera over the following article, I decided to get proactive.

In this Newsweek Article (http://web.archive.org/web/20040807085840/http://msnbc.msn.com/id/3069641/) is the following paragraph:

Still, Robertson, whose firm is responsible for three of the six tallest buildings in the world, feels a sense of pride that the massive towers, supported by a steel-tube exoskeleton and a reinforced concrete core, held up as well as they did—managing to stand for over an hour despite direct hits from two massive commercial jetliners.

Chris has constantly claimed that this is proof of a concrete core, from the man who designed it. I always maintained that it was the journalists words, not Robertsons. Well, I emailed him this week...

Hi,

I wonder if you can help me. I was after some information about the
construction of the WTC TwinTowers. I was under the impression that the Trade Center had a Steel Tube design at its core, yet this article in Newsweek (see link below), seems to suggest that the Towers had a concrete core.

http://web.archive.org/web/20040807085840/http://msnbc.msn.com/id/3069641/

Any information with regards to the WTC Core structure would be most
appreciated.

Well, today I got a reply from Leslie Robertson himself -

Dear Mr. Ware:
There were no concrete cores in the twin towers of WTC.
There are many reasons why the article could have stated to the contrary...but none of them could be based on the facts in the matter.

Leslie Earl Robertson

So, I'm satisfied that we can now put the Concrete Core theory to bed.

Good work Dave!

Truth-seeking made simple!

Christophera's 'theory' now officially lies dead in the water.

And in his parlance, that's FACT!

Dave, I had written Mr. Robertson quite some time ago and got a similar response. Chris writes it off as he is "in on it" and is being pressured by the government to lie.

Yeah... that was the response I was anticipating, but as far as I'm concerned it's a done deal. Concrete Core is dead in the water.

Dave,
I too emailed Les in December 2006 just before Christmas ...

Subject: A question about the structural nature of the World Trade Centre
Towers.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have recently been reading the NIST pdf document, (NISTNCSTAR1-1A[1])
which is a draft regarding aspects of the WTC structure, architecture etc.

Like many, I have been looking for some kind of answer to the collapses.
During my studies and research, I found a website which claims the cores
of the towers were in fact a concrete tubular structure, and not as
outlined in the NIST document. I have to say I really have no opinion on
this, other than the seemingly total contradiction of the two concepts.
I have been in touch with the author of this site and he claims it was
shown on a PBS documentary during the early 1990's. I am beginning to
doubt this doco ever existed.

From what I gather the core was made from high strength steel columns
(47), and beams, with the horizontal beams being encased in concrete and
the vertical columns not so, but encased in a fireproofing substance.
The core area flooring also concrete. I find no evidence to support the
concept of a tubular concrete core to the full height of the towers.

Would someone be able to confirm the nature of the towers cores. I am
reluctant to believe the concrete core concept. Thanks I would
appreciate your input.

Merry Christmas

.. and this was his response ..

The mis-information to be found is extraordinary!.
As you surmise, the columns and beams of the services core were of structural steel.
There were no concrete walls.
Have a great holiday!

Les Robertson

Thank you very much.
Should be clear to anyone.

I wonder if Leslie Robertson has googled "wtc concrete core" after those mails.

Resultaten 1 - 10 van circa 317.000 voor wtc concrete core

I bet more than half of it is from Chris ( if not all of it ). :)

Architect Ron Avery goes into an in-depth technical discussion of how the Twin Towers were constructed and how the official pancake collapse theory is implausible in a series of videos posted on the Alex Jones YouTube Channel.
