I've brought my fast to an end at 27 days...There is no real reason but I decided it was time. I will do a 40 day fast one day and I still have that mountain to climb, for now I'm happy with building myself back.

Many strange things happened on this fast...

I was brushing my teeth when a huge piece of plaque came out of my mouth, I didn't even think I had any plaque...

Fasting is regarded as the best cure for schizophrenia and though I’m not diagnosed, I really learned a lot about it and how it works as I guess small parts of my personality were cured from it.

I've also started to grow some very dark hairs on my beard, which I heard is common (for men) after they detox.

My psoriasis has gotten a lot better, I'm no longer using creams and although I knew 27 days wouldn't be enough to totally rid myself of it, I hope to do so in the not too distant future.

I am one week into a two week juice fast.

It is a juice fast plus barley grass powder with chlorella taken mixed with water. I consume around three to four liters of orange with apple juice each day. The juice is organic and freshly made using a twin-screw, masticating type juicer.

Thus far, no Herxheimer effects!

So are you coming off of the fast gradually? Can the body stomach a full meal to end a fast?

To Smash, no it went by quite quickly but I never set a date to break it.

I had small pieces of mellon over about a four hour period and left it over night. I'm going to go to the shops soon and get some oranges for juicing and also some very easy fruit...My mouth becomes so tender after a fast, even too much mellon is too strong and burns it (though it tastes so damn good)...

I'm going to keep up a very easy fruit diet for at least 5 days until I'm starting to shit again then I'll add some proper fibres.

Yes and no. I used my water travel berkey, great for removing toxic substances from lakes, streams and even stagnent ponds. Order now and get a free glass of water, just say Christophe sent you.
