I have seen this film. In regards to the Van Allen belts, I know by space flight at an average speed of 17,500 - 25,000 miles an hour depending which source you use to confirm this, it only takes 1 hour to fly through the Van Allen Belts and the concentration of radiation is less harmful and thinner in certain areas and more in others, so theoretically, the Apollo team could have flown to the Moon without the Van Allen belts being an issue. Coupled with proper shielding which the Apollo program had, this is not an argument which carries weight for the "We never went to the Moon" theory.
"The claim that radiation exposure during the Apollo missions would have been fatal to the astronauts is only one example of such nonsense." -- Dr. James Van Allen
